ANC active noise cancellation was ineffective for me. Otherwise good.
To have ANC (automatic noise cancellation) in a small form-factor was the only reason I bought this Elegiant item. I bought it to replace a similar ANC earbud, Phiaton brand, that I misplaced. The Phiaton, that I lost, worked well; it cost ~$75 and has been discontinued; the newer model price has doubled. I did not want to spend that much, and certainly did not want to spend for a Bose ANC headset, as I use them only for a very few airline trips per year. The ANC active noise cancellation on this Elegiant was practically ineffective for me; this is my 4th ANC headset, and my second ANC headset with earbuds. I tried all three Elegiant ear tips, pressed in hard. I tested the unit close to my home air conditioner return duct, and also tested driving around in my car. Switching the ANC on/off, I could barely tell a difference in about half of the trials, and no difference in the remainder. Usually there was a soft pop/click when switching, so something in there was alive.Everything else about the device was commendable - packaging, user instructions, bluetooth pairing, build quality, etc. I would not have returned it if ANC were not important in my case. For what it's worth, I had Bose Quiet Comfort headphones; the ANC was superb, but I sold them because they were expensive, rarely used, and I was afraid I would leave them on the airplane. I own some cheap Koss headphones that work well enough, but not nearly as well as Bose, but absolutely better than these Elegiant earbuds. The Phiaton that I lost was almost as good as the Bose. I wanted earbuds because I wear glasses; eyeglass temples cause a sound leakage with fit-over headphones.Perhaps Elegiant will see this post and conclude that my unit was defective. Otherwise, I'll travel with the old bulky Koss headphones until I come to another conclusion.

Great earphones ever
The day I got the earphones, it was raining heavily. I thought it would affect the earphone performance, however, it works as perfect as I can tell. Great headphones with noise cancelling feature. They really block out the noise and the sound quality is wonderful. It comes with three different sizes of earplugs for different sizes of ears which is quite thoughtful. The noise cancelling box has both a USB port and an aux port to connect with phones or computers. The USB port can also charge the earphone. It also has bluetooth feature where you can get rid of the wires. The sound quality is pretty good. I have a Bose noise cancelling earphones but I can say this earphones sounds no different from the expensive one. And the noise cancelling feature does the perfect job. It can also answer phone calls and change volumes with the noise cancelling box. The LED flash light tells you the box status. The price is also reasonable compared with other big brands. Best headphones ever, look super cool and dedicated. The protector case comes with it is another plus.

After 3 months they don't connect to my phone anymore or let me know when they are shut down.
The two wires all the way from the control to the earbuds is a pain. they are always catching on something. The noise cancellation is mediocre, at best and the Bluetooth integration is in need of more work. When I get a phone call it works fine, but when I get a text message there is just a momentary pause in the output. I listen to eBooks a lot and cannot tell when I am getting a text message I have a set of Plantronics headphones and they always give a tone for a text message. I purchased these on Sept. 21st and now they do not connect with my smartphone anymore and they do not tell me that they are shutting down when I hold down the power button. I have spent the last 30 minutes trying to find either the warranty info or the website for the vendor. I am thoroughly disgusted with this product.

Comfort, Style and Reliability All Wrapped Into These Headphones
I own my own dog sitting/walking business and being in busy areas sometimes can be a pain. Listening to my music keeps me going, but most headphones get drowned out by all the cars, horns, the wind, and other things found in the city...I was looking for something that would give me the listening quality I was looking for. So I choose this one, glad I did because I love it. When I thought of Bluetooth headphones, I wasn't expecting a box to be incorporated. However, it is small and lightweight so you hardly notice it. It also has a clip so you can clip it where it is comfortable for you. These also have a pretty good run time, I haven't run them all the way out yet. I always plug in at night, because I don't want to chance running out mid dog walking. These are stylish as well, so they look great in they also put in some different size ear cushions so you can find your perfect fit. All around this is a solid buy that I would buy again!

Great value!
At first I was hesitant to try noise cancelling ear buds because they just don't seem like they would work as well. I have an old pair of Bose QC15 active noise cancelling headphones that I use when travelling, but I wanted something nice for use around the house and for using easily with my phone. These come with a number of different rubber pieces that help to make a good fit in the ear unlike a lot of other less expensive options. The sound quality is surprisingly good for earbuds and the active noise cancelling works! Since these are earbuds you can't expect it to work as good as over the ear style and it's obviously not going to compare to $300 bose options, but for $50 this works perfect for using around the house or while out in public to cover up a lot of the background noise and let you listen to music, watch a show, etc.

ANC Earbuds
These earbuds are OK, but definitely not great. They have good sound volume, the cups fit the ears very well and they do have Active Noise Cancelling, although just barely. The battery life is OK, around 6 hours or so. As for the sound quality, they are awful. Almost no low end (bass) and way too much midrange. Good for listening to voice recordings (audio books maybe) but for music these are pretty poor. They are better than some but far worse than most. I wish I could get the fit these have with the quality of Bose.

Good function, poor design.
Great sound. Good noise canceling for droning background sounds. Not so good for snoring. Design with two separate long ear bud wires is very inconvenient. Wish they had conventional "Y" wiring.
