Descriptosaurus: Supporting Creative Writing for Ages 8–14 1st Edition

This is the very best book I have seen to help 11 year olds with vocabulary and descriptive writing. After they have familiarised themselves with the layout I am sure it must improve their work. I tutor for the 11+ and find it very difficult to help children with relevant ideas. I am hoping this will answer all my questions. Thank you.

I bought Descriptosauraus as teaching aid for my 10 year old Grandson and whilst I have only just started to use it with him, initial responses have been promising. At present, I think he sees it as a superb 'crib-sheet' for his homework, but we are working on a more productive use for the book! Time will tell!

I think this book is great. I bought it to help my 7 and 8 year olds, they don't like looking through the book, but its great for me to look through and feed the information through to them.

Excellent book! My daughter's English went to a completely different level, her writing has been consistently praised by her teachers.

Very good for anyone helping children with writing, grammar, explanations very clear. I lovely book for all school aged children. Would highly recommend this book.
