Great little 7.1 rig :)
I got these to replace my strange, but loud setup consisting of a 300 Watt 4.1 home stereo system, mostly in order to make room on my overcrowded desktop, and also in expectation of my shiny new 7.1 card (due in very soon)and I have to say that, so far, these sound amazing for their size and price! I've had a much smaller 2.1 setup that almost turned me off of Creative for good (they weren't shielded, so they had all kinds of electrical interference) but not these. I guess that's the difference between getting a set of speakers for 15.00 and these! Get them if you get the chance!

I had to return mine...
Well when I ordered this product I was very excited, of course. I was pleased with how quickly I received the it, and the packaging looked good. Those reasons are why this still has 2 stars. Otherwise the product itself was defective. I was unable to get the full experience of 7.1 sound due to the side speakers not working. I spent close to a week and a half with tech support before they finally said to go ahead and ship them back. The processing board in the sub unit was defective causing the side speakers to not emit sound. This all being said, I still like Creative and will still support Creative. I have used the company from the beginning and still believe they make good products. I guess I got poked by the fickle finger of fate.

Okay sound, disappointing performance
I purchased this product in Dec. '05. It worked okay for 2 years, but I was never able to get full 7.1 sound out of it, even when paired with a Creative Soundblaster Audigy card. After 2 years, the speakers stopped working one day. Creative only offers a 12 month limited warranty to I was SOL.In summary - Creative makes good speakers, but be warned that they may not last long.

Good Price and Great Sound Quality
Pretty Good. I have being using for more than a month. These speakers are excellent even when they are just haphazardly close together. Most kinds of music; jazz, classical, country and the list goes on, sound are exciting. Sounds came in every direction rather than from just 2 speakers. Once the speakers are well placed, the sounds are fascinating. So, it is pretty good set for someone who is looking to spend about a medium range of price on speakers. The speakers themselves are very good with my system and they also perform very well and bring out the rich environmental sounds. Overall, it is good price and great sound quality.

Turn circles while listening to set-up
These speakers have mind-blowing sound for the price! Just demo the set-up and turn from one to the other as the sound circles the room! Hear the bass boom! Watch an action movie or listen to music - every penny spent (and there were not too many of them) was well worth it. I still don't believe the price, the quick delivery, the easy hook-up and the great directions. I am so glad I purchased these speakers. Amazon - you have still another winner!

Good value
I got my p7800 7.1 system two weeks ago. Coming up from stereo means that any type of surround sound will sound good to me. However this system has given me hours of immense pleasure so far. I haven't percieved a midrange deficit. I'm using an SB Audigy SE card which works wonderfully with this speaker system. In short, I'm over-the-moon happy. From here, buying a pricier system would be like stepping up from very pretty to beautiful. Why bother.

Good Stuff
I bought this product on 2007 for my brother. It got to my friend's house in time, and I brought it home. It not only survived to the trip (8 hours of airplane), but it still works perfectly. Really good stuff!!!

Great 7.1 on a budget
Actually it's the only 7.1 I could find under 400 bucks. The sound isn't too bad from the small sattelites and the sub is more than adequate for gaming.Music, I'll stick to my home theatre, but it doesn't sound bad... just not amazing.Overall a very good set of speakers, especially for gamers. As far as I know quality/price ratio can't be beat.
