PHP, MySQL, JavaScript & HTML5 All-in-One For Dummies

I bought this book for my husband, who likes to experiment with computers/software and does some programming. He like learning new things and testing them out. He like the "for Dummies" line of books because they're very informative yet easy to understand.

There are tips in each chapter that you won't get from college professors on web sites and other issues. You'll need too know how one language interacts with the others and where stumbling blocks are to be advoided. This book inter-links these topics by saying you'll find that out in the next book in this series etc.HTML>CSS>JavaScript>PHP>APACHE........

We're rolling out a new website for our small business and needed to bone up on certain aspects that are covered in the Dummies books. When we have such needs we always look to Dummies books first.

The book is everything that I needed to study for exam. I would recommend this book to others. I will give it a four star. Good book.

Bought this for my grandson that likes to tinker with computers.

Bought the book because, I'm enrolled in classes with all these languages. If I were to purchase extra simplified books for each topic; it could become very costly. Instead everything is in one area. Simple to go through.

Such a great step by step book. It goes into detail about installing the software and starts at the basics. A very useful book, you just don't want to put it down. All the exercises are interesting and relevant.

As expected covers all topics. You might find you need to get more indepth books on each language though after some time. Perfect for someone just starting out as a beginner though.

Having only used HTML and Dreamweaver I needed the basics of server side technologies like PHP. This is very good - clear, simple and well explained. It is so useful being all in one book. You don't 'read' a book like this. You 'dip in' as and when. I am well pleased and more knowledgeable than I was.

Great book. Lot of good information. Wanted little more of oop aspects but book did not said it have that at all so no problem.

Seems pretty good. A bit of waffle here and there but then again it is a "dummies" book, so explains from basics.
