Well. very high production values, and very high voice too. Mr Cross seems to be almost a counter tenor now, and his voice is so polished there is little left to recognise from the heady days of the original five Grammy winning debut album. It almost sounds like someone else is singing them, as the distinctive tone that stopped him sounding too twee is no longer there. A good recording, but it's not a patch on the holistic holiness of his eponymous first album.

This man has talent in abundance. The songs are so well suited to this smoother, jazzier rendition. The album grows in quality after each song, and just when you find yourself thinking `this is my favouriate track', the next track arrives and becomes your new favourite. Beware though, after a couple of listens you will be singing them to yourself all day long.
