Nice latches
Im not going to use them do to fitment issues on my very unique vehicle, but i am impressed with the simplicity and the workmanship of them. I believe that the others that reviewed these did not understand how they should work...

These are junk. Deformed instantly when trying to unlatch.

TOTAL JUNK LATCHES.
Do NOT buy this product! They are total junk. Only one of the latches would work..... some of the time. The fit of the latching mechanism inside is horrible. The sere would never grab both of the claws at the same time or would not grab either one at all. I’m getting a refund and going with another brand. First time I’ve ever returned anything to amazon.Update: Amazon was quick to refund my money as soon as the shipper picked up my return! I ordered the large trunk latches from Rocky Hinge and they are far superior! They work great! Wish amazon sold their stuff! They were $15 more and we’ll worth it!

Expensive item that keeps breaking
The media could not be loaded.  I’ve bought two of these latches and have had a spring break rendering the lock ineffective. They are too expensive to keep dishing out 30 dollars to have a spring break every couple weeks.

Latch is stiff..need alot of force to unlock the latch
Used it on a e25 with suicide back doors..fitting good ..everything looks good..but the latch itself to pull to open the claws is rather stiff..manufacturers need to look into that...i kmow it was meant to stop the door from opening bt at the same time i think it can be made way easier to open..to much force needs to be put into it .

It'll do exactly what it needs to do. A great low cost solution to replace latches in hot rods, customs etc.

Unusable
The latches are very sturdy and fairly easy to install. However, both of the black spring loaded pieces that grab the striker pin are different shapes, causing one too close earlier then the other.They will not close all the way because of this (even on my bench).It wasn’t an install issue either because I replaced them with an off brand that has the same bolt pattern and the door closes perfect.
