Mower
Just what I was looking for, for my small yard. Easy to put together and works great so long as the grass is too high.

It got the job done but there are issues. . .
I purchased the WaLensee 20 inch lawn mower to cut my backyard. It is mostly winter rye grass and weeds. The surface of the yard is very uneven in places. The grass had gotten pretty high and cutting it with a string trimmer wasn’t cutting it. I decided to try a reel lawn mower. I decided on the WaLensee because it was a 20’ mower. I’d read somewhere that a wider cutting path was better for uneven yards. I also purchased the WaLensee because it had a grass catcher and its price point. When the lawn mower arrived, the packing box looked like it had been opened and re-sealed because the tape wasn’t sticking to the box like it should have been. When I opened the shipping box, I saw it had no packing material to keep the box with the lawn mower from shifting around during transport. The lawn mower box was in very poor condition too. It had holes in it where the metal parts had poked through the box. I was concerned that I’d gotten a returned mower or worse some of the parts needed to assemble the mower would be missing.AssemblyAll of the parts were in the box and it appeared I’d received an unused mower. The instructions were good but some of the pictures were difficult to see and decipher what they were trying to depict. It was very easy to assemble the lawn mower. However, I was unable to secure one side of the top handle with a nut and thumb nut because the holes didn’t line up properly. I couldn’t get the nut to pass through the hole.QualityThe quality of the lawn mower parts is fair. The blade mechanism seemed sturdy and well made. The handles, grass catcher basket and wheels all felt like they were a child’s toy. In other words, they did not feel sturdy enough for yard work in my opinion.First CutThe WaLensee lawn mower cut the grass and weeds very easily. Because the grass was high, I set the mower high for the first pass. Then lowered it for the second and third passes. I cut the yard in what I can only describe as a lattice pattern—first vertically then horizontally across the vertical cut. I ended up taking the basket off as it came off and came apart anyways. Likely because of all the bumps in my yard. When I finished, I was very pleased with how the yard looked. Of course, a cut yard always looks better than an uncut one. What I liked:The lawn mower was easy to assemble. The lawn mower was easy to maneuver even over my uneven yard.It cut the grass! I had to do a little back and forth maneuvering but not a lot. What I didn’t like:Quality assurance issues. The handles that came with this lawn mower should have gotten recycled because the holes did not lineup properly to allow the nut to pass through. Also, when raising and lowering the mower, I noticed that one side clamped onto the teeth of the gear better than the other. This didn’t seem to affect the mower’s ability to cut, but it was annoying. The flimsy feel of the handle and grass catcher basketHow the lawn mower was what’s shipped.Would I recommend it?If you have a well-manicured lawn and want to use a reel mower to keep it that way, this lawn mower would be ideal in my opinion. Especially if you are mowing a larger area.If your yard is not well-manicured and has uneven places, this lawn mower can cut it without overworking you, at least that was my experience. If you want the solid feel of a sturdy handle and grass catcher basket that won’t come undone or detach from the mower when you hit a bump, you may not like this lawn mower as the handle felt flimsy and the grass catcher became a nuisance for me. I ended up taking it off.My overall rating is a 4 the mower did a very good job cutting the grass despite its shortcomings.

It’s terrible
Literally the worst mower I’ve ever used. If you have anything other than a perfectly flat yard don’t get this mower. My yard is slightly bunpy (built into the side of a hill so theirs divots) and it can’t go more than 1ft without locking up.

works good
recently purchased this 16-inch 5-blade push mower for my small lawn, and I’m genuinely impressed by how well it performs without gas or electricity.Pros:Eco-Friendly: No gas, no cords, no noise — just clean, quiet mowing. Perfect for those who want to reduce their carbon footprint.Sharp Blades: The 5-blade reel cuts grass cleanly and evenly, almost like using scissors. It’s great for healthier grass!Lightweight & Easy to Maneuver: At 16 inches, it’s the perfect size for smaller yards or tight spaces. I can easily carry it and store it in the shed.Low Maintenance: No oil, spark plugs, or fuel. Just occasional blade sharpening and you’re good to go.Great Workout: It gives a light physical workout while getting the job done — double win!Cons:Not Ideal for Tall or Wet Grass: It struggles a bit with overgrown or damp patches, so regular mowing is best.Limited Height Settings: It works well for short grass, but options are limited if you like it a bit longer. All in all, this is a fantastic, budget-friendly mower for anyone with a small to medium-sized yard. Reliable, quiet, and kind to the planet — highly recommended!

Surprisingly Easy To Use
I'm really impressed with how this reel mower tackled my lawn during our recent dry weather as I live in Florida so it's usually hot. Putting it together took me just 15 minutes, and then came the real surprise, this thing glides through grass with so little effort that my son happily took over halfway through. The grass catcher actually stays put unlike other models I've tried, efficiently collecting clippings and keeping my HOA off my back about sidewalk mess. It's the most peaceful mowing experience - no gas fumes, no yanking starter cords, and no apologetic waves to neighbors for early morning engine noise. Just the satisfying snip-snip sound while birds chirp overhead. If you have a modest yard, looking for a simple solution, this mower absolutely delivers especially if you maintain a regular cutting schedule rather than waiting until your lawn resembles a jungle.
