Works great, servers sit nearly flush
I'm using these with a rack of CHENBRO RM42300-F 4U cases and they all work great. If they are protruding 3" from the rack the other reviewers aren't using the front bracket correctly. I do wish there was a way though to at least lightly lock in the closed position since they require a thumb screw into the rack to keep them from sliding out on their own if your rack/cabinet is on wheels.

Bad Fit for the CHENBRO RM42300
Rails seems sturdy enough and are built for a 26” deep rack. The RailKing rails I received are different than the one pictured. While they do mount to the CHENBRO RM42300, the result is that the case sits about 3” proud of the front rack. I had to remove the handles just to get the door to close. Not a good fit. Could probably get a better result at a lower cost with some generic rails.

Steer clear.
Single worst piece of rack hardware I've ever used. The design on these is nothing short of scary. It looks nothing like the picture with the closed ends - instead, there's three little fingers and the rail screws into the bottom square of 1u and the immediately adjacent top square of the 1u below it... that's for a 4u server! There is little to no lateral stability and the only mechanism holding the server-side rails is the ball-bearing assembly. Once you're clear of that, the node can simply drop out on one side unexpectedly (because, of course they don't roll at the exact same rates and one lags behind the others). I've now destroyed these rails and I am seriously hoping the 12 drives in my server are still ok after this crap. The finger design would be great for a lighter 1u server but on the 4u cases these were designed for, they bend far too easily. I was moderately ok with my first case (the one these rails are for), pissed at the next two I ordered (bad QC on both - had to return due to broken rail fitting and drive cages), and after dealing with these rails, Chenbro just lost a customer.

Very functional!
Easy to assemble and attach. Seem strudy enough for my 4U workstation. Really handy being able to slide it out of the rack, pop the top, and work on.
