Fast, Reliable, and Easy to Set Up!
I’m really impressed with this 6-port 10Gb Ethernet switch! Setup was completely plug-and-play — no configuration needed. The build quality feels solid and professional, and the performance has been excellent. All my devices are getting consistent, high-speed connections with zero dropouts or lag. The 2.5G ports are perfect for my home network upgrades, and file transfers are noticeably faster now. It runs cool and quiet too, which is a big plus. Great value for the price — highly recommend for anyone looking to boost their wired network speed and stability.

Blazing fast, whisper quiet, and worth every penny
I bought this GiGaPlus 10-port unmanaged switch to upgrade my home network, and it absolutely exceeded expectations. Between the 8× 2.5GbE ports and the 2× 10G SFP+ ports, this thing is a total workhorse—and it does it all silently. Setup was genuinely plug-and-play. No config, no nonsense. I used 10GBASE-T SFP+ modules for these switches in each room, back to the 10Gbps switch in my network rack, and everything flies. It’s the kind of upgrade you feel right away if you're hitting any throughput limits—downloads are faster, latency drops, and nothing is bottlenecked anymore. The fanless metal chassis stays cool even under full load, and the build quality feels solid—this doesn’t feel like a budget switch, even though the price is fantastic for a multi-gig unit with SFP+ uplinks. If you’ve got WiFi 6 gear, a fast NAS, or even just a few devices that support 2.5GbE, this switch is absolutely worth it. No noise, no drama—just pure, stable performance. Highly recommended. I’d buy another in a heartbeat.

Works great
It would have been nice if they supplied rubber feet to keep it from sliding all around. Other than that, it works great.

2.5 times faster than standard 1GBe for files transfers,
Just what i needed! I recently upgraded to a 2.5GBe network and this fit the bill for my workstation. I currently have 2.5GBe on 3 computers and my NAS and the file transfer speed upgrade is great. The 2 10GBe ports will come in handy for future network upgrades.

SFP+ port gave out in 6 months....
The SFP+ port failed on me after 6 months and wouldn't allow me to get out to the internet. After 4 hours of troubleshooting, I pinned it down the the SFP+ 10Gb port. Idk. Its out of warranty I guess, but functionality for high speed is limited now. Update The SFP port failed, but Gigaplus has offered a refund after it has been out of warranty. I upgraded the review as their customer service has been very good at addressing the problem

Failed after 7 months of light use - support/customer service is worse than nonexistent
UPDATE3: Seems the seller's offer to help remediate the situation was empty - looking at it now it almost reads like it was an automated response to a poor review. I responded back accepting their offer, a day later the message thread was closed - no response or action from the seller in over a week (their solution should have been a couple days at best and if not at least acknowledgement of the situation). To be clear, I did not expect any sort of remediation - the brand has no website and apparently no customer service/support staff. I purchased the device under the assumption that it was "as-is" and without warranty. So if the seller never bothered to contact me things would have been fine; however, it's far worse to offer the customer support then disappear. Better to remain silent and let people think you don't exist then to ghost them and prove you don't care. Buyer beware, devices by the company should truly be treated "as-is without support or warranty" because in effect that's exactly what it is. If you are willing to accept that and find a good price, sure take a chance - but chances are you will be giving your money to them. My advice, find a different brand. Maybe with one of the other clones out there (look carefully there's lots of device with nearly identical specs to this - there's only so many switch chips on the market, especially at a given price point). It's a shame really, I chose this one due to good reviews by a reputable 3rd party. Oh well. UPDATE 2: The seller reached out after seeing this review to remediate the situation. I appreciate their offer, I just wish there was a way to reach them independently of these reviews. UPDATE 1: After deeper inspection I can see nothing physically wrong - the failure of the ports appears to be entirely within the switch's logic chips. In my case I have revision 1.2 of the GP-S25-0802 model (S25G1210FP-N-V1.2). Looking back at the reviews that helped inform this purchase I see they were testing version 1.1 of the switch - not sure what changed but it wasn't for the better. ORIGINAL POST: After 7 months of light use (mainly the SFP+ ports and a couple of the 2.5Gbe ports - low traffic) the SPF+ ports have failed. While it worked, it worked alright. It was a bit fussy with which optics it accepted in the SPF+ cages and one was a tight fit (looked slightly bent) but all that was normal/expected (it's common for SFP+ cages to be picky about which optics are used). The copper ports worked well - nothing note worthy there. Speeds were as expected right up until the sudden failure. Anyway, now I have a paper weight and need to find another brand with comparable features (I need the dual SFP+ cages + with at least 8x 2.5Gbe ports in as small a formfactor as I can find - not many options...) I wanted to like the product but the quality just isn't there.

Well formed, easy to use, respected manufacturer, higher speed than average
Really nice for large networking with newer/higher data rates where most (consumer) network connections are still limited to 1GB/sec transmission

Excellent RJ45 Port 5GB connections
I bought this because I wanted higher speed uplink from my router. Setup was just as you expect - plug and play. A quick note - most of the images show the router connecting to the 10 GBps port on the end, though the one next to that says "Uplink." I'm told it doesn't matter, but I plugged mine in to the "Uplink" port. All ports are occupied and work to the maximum capacity I can take them (1.4 GBps). Another quick note - one of the 2.5 GBps ports had a "soft" click upon connection. I was concerned, because I like a solid, loud, "hard" click. The ethernet cable is fully secure, however, and speeds are great. I would (and probably will) purchase this and other items from GigaPlus.
