Granitize S-3 Auto Wash and Wax with Carnauba - 1 Gallon

I have a number of 'toys' from motorcycles to RVs, to sailboat, to classic cars, to daily drivers. Do more washing and detailing than I care to admit to.I went all in with the 5 gal pail based on the reviews. I use a professional product called Verry Berry (product name... yes.. that is very with 2 r's), and it is frankly the best of the best in terms of wash and rinse products (in terms of cleaning ability and wet-look luster that lasts). But that product just keeps getting more and more and more expensive each time I re-purchase it. I am always on the look-out for a more cost effective replacement (and I have tried many, both retail level products and professional jobber products).The retail level products (Maquires, etc) are way inferior to Verry Berry. I saw this product and thought I would give it a try as the other reviews seem they may have come from people like me, that have tried many products over the years, and know what works and does not work (and know enough ti know the difference).That said.. I have only had the chance to wash my black daily driver once to date (the winter came.. too cold out to wash cars by hand now). The cleaning ability of this product (the suds and cleaning power) actually surpass Verry Berry. This stuff cleans even better than harsh laundry detergent (which is actually a good, but harsh car cleaner). As noted, this product is extremely concentrated and a little goes a long way. The luster of the product was not the best I have used. It was quite good.. very good in fact, just not to the same level of Verry Berry (but that is the gold standard for me in terms of wash / rinse products). But I have to be fair.. when I washed my car it was only about 34 degrees outside and I suspect the chemical action may have been muted by the temperatures with respect to the water beading / wet look function of the product. I think in warmer weather the water beading / luster function will be almost as good as Verry Berry. But at the price diff between the two products (Verry Berry is about 4x the price), this product is a keeper and will replace Verry Berry for me.I would highly recommend this product. 4.5 star for now, and may up it to a 5 star once I use it in warmer weather. I will update once the weather is warm again.Hope this helps your purchase decision. If yes, give a thumbs up vote.Update 8/9/2017; I have been using this product now for about 2 years. I am going to up my review to a '5 star'.. I have found that my initial review was pretty accurate. Super concentrated (a little goes a long way), great suds, great cleaning power, very good water beading / luster, decent longevity on how long the luster lasts (hey.. this is not paste wax, so do not think in terms of that type of longevity). Again.. I have tried just about every retail level product (from Mothers to Maquires, to Turtle wax, etc) as well as many 'jobber' products (for auto body shops and detail shops). This beats all others I have tried. It performs as well as Verry Berry, except for a slight deduction on the luster capability. But Verry Berry has again raised its prices. It is now ridiculously expensive. Although Verry Berry may be the gold standard for 'wash / rinse products, It really is almost 4x the cost of this product, and it is only marginally better in luster, and no better on all other criteria.. Go for the Granitize... you will not be disappointed.

During covid and due to lack of available products at local auto supply stores I turned to Amazon. Much better than the name brands at the box stores. Smells absolutely amazing, I think my son likes washing the cars because of this! Mentions it every time. I use a foam cannon on an electric pressure washer, the product foams like it should and loosens dirt making the process of washing easier. Great results with air drying. Worth the extra buck!

Amazing stuff... purchased forever ago and still using... awesome smell to...started using it to clean the boat out after going offshore as well... so many uses and goes so far... very cost effect method to clean anything and everything... buy it

I been buying this soap for years. I used to live right by the company where they sold it but I moved now I order it through Amazon. It smells like bubble gum and does a great job washing my cars.

If you don't totally dry with a towel, it spots badly on the car an glass.

One of the best cleaners I have used so far,leaves everything sparkling like new after using this product.Have to say very impressed.And will continue to use.A+++++++++

Easy to use

I use it to wash my Vette and it works great. Nice and thick, smells good, makes just the right amount of suds, rinses off easy and leaves the car looking shiny. I will buy more, but this goes a long ways and will last for lots of washes.
