Not used for infant or toddler!!
I have many medical issues with my eyes and I’m also extremely allergic to many fragrances, fabrics, and ingredients. I purchased these to clean and wipe my eyes because they are made with cotton cloth and not gauze.I’m very pleased with this product; they have worked out exactly how I expected!

For extra sensitive skin, you may want to try these cotton wipes
These baby cotton wipes are not going to be what you expect - when you see the word wipes. These are actually about twice the size of makeup removal squares. People are moving away from products that cannot be recycled or safely disposed of in sewers (cotton wipes and balls are not sewage appropriate either). And many people do not want to use wipes on babies that have artificial scents, chemicals or more in them. So, as an alternative to a washcloth that requires rinsing and washing, you have the option to use cotton wipes. They are made to be sturdier than before and they are soft on baby and do not have any unwanted chemicals. Not all babies are able to have wipes used on them. Some are very sensitive. When you use a cotton wipe, you want to be gentle and only use a small amount of liquid for clean up (you can purchase a spray that is chemical free and will aid in cleaning). These are not for everyone. Just like cotton eyecleaning pads aren't for everyone. Some people prefer a pre-moistened chemical that is wipe and toss. But not everyone has the luxury of being used by all

Dry wipes, small and can’t close after opening
The media could not be loaded. These are dry small squares that measure 3.5 inches by 3.75 inches. They are soft cotton and have ribbed edges on one side. What I didn’t like?1. When dry they tear apart easily, when wet it was only slight headed to tear apart, see my video.2. No way to close or reseal the package (see photo).3. They are way smaller than the standard baby wipe, and just slightly larger than a cosmetic circle.4. Bulky so this would take up room in diaper bag, and again yo point 2 above it does not close.5. Price is 5.99 for 50, or .12 per wipe. Most traditional wet wipes are around ..02-.04 per wipe. We typically use Seventh Generation at .04 per wipe. What I liked?1. These would actually be nice cosmetic wipes for things like make up removal, applying toners and cleansers, similar to the ones they use when I get a facial. For this application, I can definitely use them.2. If you can’t use standard baby wipes (maybe because of the wet solutions they come in), then these might work well. Just note they are dry and small.

Very useful, but not for use as the package describes
These are thick cotton pads measuring 4" x 3.5". They're very soft and free of dyes and fragrances. I can think of lots of uses for these such as removing make up or nail polish, toning face, applying ointments. I'm actually going to use them for cleaning sensitive equipment in a laboratory. However, I can't imagine using these as a "baby wipe" for "diapering" as the package describes. Baby will love the feel of them, but they are too small and therefore won't protect your fingers from the stuff you don't want to touch when you do that task.Another problem is the packaging which is not resealable. You have to open the package and put them in something else -- not what you're wanting from baby wipes. So, this is a great product for DIFFERENT uses. The manufacturer needs to re-think the marketing on these.

super soft and clean
I like that these are generously sized and don't leave a lot of lint behind. They are a great alternative to wet wipes and the perfect baby shower gift for anyone who has said they might use washable / reusable diapers. You go through a LOT of wipes like this with a little one, so anything to help reduce waste is awesome.

Excellent for skin care
Though these are marketed as baby wipes, these serve a better purpose for me for use in facial skin care. I love the larger size that allows me to use one end for applying toner and the other for applying the watery lotions used in Korean skin care. They are thick, very soft, and strong. These pads can also absorb quite a bit thanks to their thickness. Unlike most cotton facial squares and circles widely sold in stores, you won’t experience any tearing or balling of the cotton fibers in this pad or end up with little bits of cotton lint on your face.I can see why these would also be great as baby wipes. Their thickness means your fingers won’t accidentally tear through the wipe when cleaning your baby’s bottom (no one likes that happening), and you can absorb quite a bit with one cotton wipe. These are about half the size of most baby wipes, but these seem to be more for cleaning off your baby after a wet non-poopy diaper, or for drying off your child after using a spray to clean them during a diaper change. And unlike most baby wipes sold commercially, these are compostable which will appeal to parents who hate throwing out so many baby wipes. Another use for these would be to get them wet with something like Mustela no-rinse cleanser for babies or the Zum Bum from Indigo Wild or even a combo of witch hazel with a little aloe, place in an airtight container, and make your own personal cleaning wipes (just don’t flush - even the made to flush ones don’t really degrade and will clog pipes or kill a septic system). Take a few in a plastic baggie for on the road to freshen arm pits or clean off sticky hands or dirty faces. If you’re really eco-conscious, put the used wipes in the now empty baggie, then compost the wipes when you get home and recycle the plastic bag.
