It's a suitable replacement for the Bose cable. It worked great with the Bose system.

This cable worked with my system, but the connection to the receiver was very loose and keep unplugging from the system. I had to use plastic tie wraps to secure the connection to the receiver. Original Bose cable connector was much tighter at the receiver end than this one.

Cable seemed well made but when hooked to my bose it didn't work correctly (only 2 speakers worked with it ) , got one from bose and it worked the way it should ( all 5 speakers worked ) ! Not sure if it was the cable being defective but am sure it didn't work .
