Started with the lever lock variant... they work, but the combination wheels do not turn as easily and changing the combination is more difficult... tried these... less money, wheels turn more freely, and reseting combination is easier. They lock in place well, too... have already ordered more.

A simple gun lock that works and is easy to reset.

I’m used to using combination trigger locks similar to these, though the name brand ones that I typically use just slide straight into the lock. These locks have a twisting action that makes it sort of unique. The bar that slides into the other half of the lock fits very tight, and so sometimes you have to wiggle it a little bit to get it to slide in. It’s annoying (thus the 4-star review), but the fit is very snug once the lock is engaged and so I have confidence that it is a solid lock and will protect any access to the trigger mechanism. I recommend it because its price is significantly lower than the name-brand locks.

Fits my Kel Tec P17 perfectly. Easy to set your own combo, tumblers move smoothly. Best of all No key to keep track of.

I don't understand all the complaints about this lock. Maybe they're talking about some other model or some other manufacturer. This is the RioRand 3-digit trigger lock in blue. It's a very nice, sturdy, well made and well finished lock. It works exactly as described. Fits perfectly on my S&W 4006, nice and tight. No possibility of manipulating the trigger in any way. The number wheels are a little tight when you're changing the combination, but otherwise they turn freely. And how often are you going to change the combination? Seems like a great product for the money. (As with any gun lock, make sure it's working properly BEFORE you stick it on the gun!)

The locks all come preset at 000. Changing the code is easy but the dials are clunky and don't always line up. Sometimes they click into place, other times they don't. I changed the codes on all but one. There last one, the dials didn't click into place while I was changing and it no longer functions.

Quality seem ok. Like that it's coded so no looking for keys when you need it opened quick.

This is a wonderful product. It works super well.

Perfect for anyone like me who forgets their key after spending 2 hours preparing to hunt and then get to the hunting area and realize your key is home. lol this is a must if your like me and does this repeatedly

I ordered the black ones before this and the fit and finish were not acceptable - the dials were gritty and one of the locks came locked and I couldn’t even try the 1000 combinations to unlock it because one of the dials was jammed in both directions leaving one number out of the combination - I returned these ... the previous order before that of the same black locks were already of lesser quality than what you would get from the gun store but I kept them because they were usable ... these blue ones however, are night and day! They are a bit more expensive but they are smooth and work very well ... not to mention that they are also very sharp looking ...

Seems sturdy and well made. Nice heavy piece and functions as it should.

The lock is not super but good enough. You get what you paid for. The lock itself gets 3-4 stars. The seller is awesome, answering your questions and provide solution immediately, which is the most important. Considering the seller, I will give a 5-star.
