Rust-Oleum 2X Automotive Enamel Custom Spray 5-in-1 Spray Paint

I have never used a colored clear coat before. This was a different shade than the hood we were working on, but looked better than peeling clear. Surface prep included a wash and dry then wet sanding with 1500 to break the clear loose. Being a 20 year old kids car we weren't shooting for factory, but just a nice driver. The adjustable spray nozzle worked well. I applied a total of 4 coats for uniformity. It worked well.

Honestly great product for being a rattle can. Had some issues with clogging, but with more wiping of rhe tip and making sure to start and end strokes appropriately made a difference. Bumper looks better not cracked, so can't complain.

This spray paint is so awesome specially, you can choose different nozzle. I use number four. My Camry clear coat it’s all faded. I just use one can spray around the top, as you see on the photo, what a big different. Yes not perfect but the cost compared to a paint job. All I need is to remove all those faded area. This paint were perfect. I just use one can for the whole car, if you apply multiple coats will look a lot better

Color matched decently. Wasn’t exact but worked to cover some scratches. Lasted for a few months then seemed to start to fade off.

Gos on Well Best coverage of all paints I’ve used , even custom Matching using vin number at Paint stores It’s the Real Deal . I’ve spent $25.00 a can to custom match , it was ok Rust-Oleum is by far better than any auto pain I’ve used in 10 years .

This stuff comes out of the can like I am using my professional painting equipment. Beautiful finish.

Good durable finish on top of painted cast iron and auto body. Easily applies in thin coats to a variety of surfaces. Once it cures it has a gorgeous glossy finish that will stand up to heavy use.

I purchased to refinish the black window trim on a BMW e39. Paint sprayed on smooth, and the color is a very close match to the original black trim. I had no issues with the nozzle clogging. Make sure you let it cure for 24 hours before taping over it - I made this mistake when doing the painting in sections.
