Drew Barrymore White Icing 2 Slice Toaster with Touch-Activated Display

Love the look and matches my other drew barrymore products.

The toaster looks very classy. I love the touch screen and the pop of gold just makes the toaster looks very elegant.

I got this in black And absolutely love. Bagels don’t get stuck in it. And love the touch screen on it.

I gave it 3 stars rather than fewer as even I don't trust lower reviews. The lever wouldn't stay down after 17 mos. I was surprised to find it had a 2 yr warranty. In order to collect on the warranty these are the steps they put me through. One at a time. A photo of the unit's credentials (reasonable). Then they wanted a video of what was wrong. OK. It took 3 tries before they accepted it. I thought I was done. Then they insisted that I cut the cord and send them a foto. The book 'Sludge' talks about the 'red tape' Co's use hoping you will just go away. BTW, the unit is so poorly weighted that it pitches forward when you push the lever down. Others have mentioned this. At this point I called them (in Montreal). I refused to cut the cord as I still used it maybe twice a week to make toast applying a weight to the lever whilst hovering nearby to keep the toast from burning. "This is company policy.' I was told. I told them to try and reach down real deep and trust their customers. I've since ordered an Amazon Basics unit and sent them a picture of the cut cord.

I bought at Walmart last year and returned the first one thinking it was a fluke. The second one burnt the toast less so I kept it mostly because I needed a toaster but this is absolute garbage. I have to stand over it and stop and turn the toast so it doesn't burn on one side. Such simple technology and yet the manufacturer failed miserably. They stopped carrying it at my Walmart and whoever is selling this toaster at this price is questionable. Mine was on sale for $30.

EVERY TIME I toast, I have to push the handle down TWICE. I contacted mfr and provided picture of label, Amazon receipt and video of the problem and was told it’s “ONLY SOLD AT WALMART AND SOMEONE PURCHASED IT FROM WALMART AND SOLD IT ON AMAZON.” They can’t help with our problem!!!!

Bought the toaster and didn’t even last 3 years!!! Bought the big white crockpot and it cracked after 3.5 years. They worked wonderfully while they lasted. Feel like these products should have lasted longer! Never by again!!!
