Great flashlight with a good amount of brightness. As usual though, Lumen's is subjective. Most LED flashlights tend to overstate their lumen power, so don't be fooled by that. This is bright enough for the size. Throw is decent, although all the way in one position tends to produce a bright square (the shape of the LED).However, I removed 2 stars because mine suffers from the dreaded IC vampire drain. Like a lot of LED flashlights that feature various modes, this doesn't appear to have an actual "off" switch (where a switch physically breaks the connection to the battery). This uses an IC to monitor a button press and then switch modes based on that press. Seems good in theory, but that slight amount of sleep current that the IC is pulling to monitor the switch causes the batteries to drain while it sits in a drawer, that in turn, makes it so when you really need the light (power outage, fumbling around in the dark like a blind giraffe), it doesn't work. This could be fixed in design by having a physical off switch and a mode select switch. Or just forgoing the modes and selling it with an old school analog switch.If you want to fix yours (or any of the multi-mode flashlights like they sell in multi-packs at the bulk stores), you can usually pop out the IC circuit in these and replace it with the analog switch from a $1.99 single-mode LED flashlight (those cheap 9Led array ones). I do that to all of mine so I don't have to pull the batteries every time I want to store it. You'll lose the modes and be stuck on full brightness, but the LED chip usually has it's own power regulator with it, so you don't have to worry about that aspect.

For a light costing just under $10 this thing is very bright and appears to be much more expensive once you see the quality build. I bought 2 of these and they both outdid my expectations. I tested them at night to see if the spot beam could actually reach the 500 meter distance it claims and it can definitely light up road signs over 1/4mi away with the spot beam on using 3 AAA batteries so I'd say its claims are pretty accurate. For a flashlight that runs on AAA batteries it would be hard to beat this level of performance, I used 3 Duracell copper tops and after about an hour of use the new batteries did start to diminish so I'd definitely get the rechargeable optional batteries this flashlight is compatible with if you require constant use but either way this product deserves a 5 star rating.

This flashlight fell apart the second day I tried to use it. I pressed the rubbery green button at the top for turning on the light, so instead of depressing down, it turned sideways and couldn't stay stable. It flicked rapidly, then the whole top unscrewed. I've put it together again but the green button keeps messing everything up so the light doesn't work. For my safety, I have to buy another flashlight. All this happened while walking through the woods in the evening.

This flashlight for the price, does the job. I work in security, so having a flashlight is an important part of the job. Personally, I am going to have to switch flashlights because this one is just not making the cut. At first, the flashlight was surprisingly bright and had some different features that I really liked. One night however, while using the flashlight, I noticed it would dim and then get brighter. I am not sure if the batteries are low (which they shouldn't be) or if this light is already breaking on me.For security, I would recommend a different light. This light would be a great light to throw in your glove box or emergency kit as a nice backup. For the price, you really can't expect much. Especially when it comes to the flashlight market.

Perfect size, solid flashlight and nice easy zoom from spot to flood. Incredibly bright for small light. I'm able to focus and light up small area 100 or more yards away, no kidding. I'm impressed

This was an impulse purchase by me when Amazon had it on sale, but I have to say that I am very impressed with it, and am using it far more often than I anticipated. It seems very well built and the light is very bright. I had to contact the customer service dept for this company as I did not receive the 18650 battery adapter. They responded extremely quickly, and a few days later I received 2 adapters in the post. Great customer service!Overall, I am very happy with my impulse purchase!

Not as bright as a unit I obtained from another site labeled cree-xm-l t6. That light partially broke (only comes on high, other modes dont work). This light also has a very tight focus, such that you can see the square emitter on the wall while I'd prefer a similar sized spot but better diffusion. This light is still much brighter than a halogen/xenon flashlight. Over all decent cheap light.

This is a Great flashlight. Incredibly Bright and has a far throw. Unbeatable for the price and comes with two.I wasn't sure it would be quality because the price was so low, however, this is a great flashlight and great deal.I highly recommend this product. I repurchased two times so far.

Bought two different brands of flashlights. Gracetop vs Morpilot and did a side by side comparisson. I found Gracetop brand is not as bright. Flood pattern is much narrower. Spotlight beam pattern shows a jagged edge in one corner. Color temperature is more similar to a 6000 Kelvin vs the other at 5500 Kelvin. Fit and finish is great. Both flashlights had 3 AAA batteries for this test. Lastly, for a few bucks more the other brand came with a foldable knife, hence the 4 star rating.

It's bright, does what it needs too. You can narrow or widen the amount of light, and it's not too large so you can fit it in your pocket. I recommend it.

Flashlight is well made and constructed, though it is just another flashlight in my "light painting" arsenal.

Flashlight worked as intended didn't really drain the battery either
