Not as good as the first volume
Doesn't really carry on from the first volume and gets a bit boring at times.

SF----superior fiction!
A worthy conclusion to Volume 1,which I have already reviewed.I'm no manga expert, but have been a SF reader since the early days(1960's),when there was little to choose from, mainly what are now "classics",Asimov,Heinlein,Simak,et al.,and this can stand, not alongside those, but above them,I think.More on a par with today's less hard, more human approach, even in the genre of "hard"SF.The characters are not just standard, stock creations to be threatened/challenged/triumph,but interestingly realistic.A good read, and I(without boasting)know my SF.

This volume becomes very emotional as the many facets of love are explored
Powerful! The characters grow, develop, get married and we learn their pasts. This volume becomes very emotional as the many facets of love are explored. Also, the characters struggle with their place in the world when faced with the vastness of space. A few new quirky characters keep some humour to temper the darkness. I loved the characters and this is one series I'll probably re-read. Not only a great story but a quality book that will be a keeper for my shelves.
