My headline pretty much says it all. This kit is really good at removing old crusted diesel fuel injectors that are carboned up from hundreds of thousands of miles of use in between changes, and I have now tried it on two different engine types with good success on both. The important thing is to not damage the heads when pulling the Injectors and that's why a puller kit is essential. Is well made and strong and doesn't mar up the finish of the heads and it doesn't damage the injectors just in case you're the type who likes to try to clean out and reuse diesel fuel injectors come although I don't think anybody recommends doing that. Still, these do the job and get the old ones out and they deal with the carbon crusting no problem and they don't damage the head or the injector.

I used this on a Perkins engine in a sailboat. It had very limited room above the injector to use my manual slide hammer style remover tool effectively. The pneumatic puller worked great. It fit on the mechanical injector and with a little upward pressure I was able to get the injector out without any additional work. It might not be strong enough for a really frozen injector but worked well for me.
