Bought the expansion after wanting more power storage. Now have 2 base stations and 2 expansion packs because it worked so well. Lost power during hurricanes was able to keep the essentials running for a couple days while waiting for power to be restored. Being portable was great for bringing unit to family when they needed power and considering installing sub panel for automatic backup. Recommended buying base station and expansion pack, it's worth extra money and says you buying together

Serious power storage. Be aware it is very heavy and take advantage of the wheels to make life easier.

The amount of juice you get from this expansion better is great and they make it so it fits very snug on top of Inverter or stacked in top of eachother. You just plug it into the inverter and it just works right away. The accompanying Anker app picks it up and that's it. Highly recommend the Anker 3800 with the expansion.

The Anker F3800 system is decent, but they essentially have no customer service.I have two F3800 and six BP3800 expansion batteries. I would like to return them all if I could. Even simple support is obtainable for 2 days. So unless you're a solar expert, don't count on ANKER for any help unless you have a ton of patience. If I could do it all over again, I would definitely have gone with EcoFlow. They have most the same features, but have much better customer service to help you expand your system.

Just experienced a loss of power due to bad storms. The Anker battery system allowed me to continue using all the appliances in my home. Glad I made this purchase.
