I normally buy bifidobacterium lactis caps every month since they really work for my situation. These capsules haven't had any bad tastes or smells & I haven't had any funky side effects from them. They don't upset my stomach.My first brand shot up to double the price, so I switched to another brand & that also shot up in price. Now I've found this brand & I like it. It works just as well as the more expensive brands & is still a reasonable price (or was when I bought it). If this one also shoots up in price, I'll have to learn to live without it if I can't find another brand.One thing I particularly like about this brand is that I only have to take one pill & it's a 2-month supply. The second brand I switched to required 2 pills for the same benefit & only one month supply. The first brand was only one month supply as well. So, I'm happy with this brand on a few levels.If you benefit from this particular probiotic, you can buy with confidence that it does work the same. When I run out, it normally takes a day or two to get back to where I was. I take 2 pills for the first couple of days, then go back to my one pill. One pill is full strength.
