Arrived alive, healthy, and stunning.
Worth every cent. His coloring changes from this beautiful green, to blue, and sometimes the black looks like a dark red. He arrived packaged well, and alive. He appears heathy. He is active and curious. I will definitely order from D&A Tropical again.

Beautiful Beta
Arrived alive , make sure your adapting the fish to its new environment. You'll need to keep the fish in the bag it arrived in and hold it in your new tank with water. After few minutes you can add the fish. Also there is a treatment called stabil and It helps with adapting the fish to its new home. New tank syndrome can kill fish. Oh and dont over feed your fish. It can lead to bloated liver and kill the fish. The fish will act hungry all day so don't give in.

Swim bladder issues.
The color is absolutely beautiful. But the fish is having issues with its swim bladder. It has problems swimming to the surface and is unable to hover. I am not happy. And, the bag that the fish came in has foreign language. And, the fish came from Texas. Weird! 🤔 Buyer beware.

Fish Has Swim Bladder
The fish arrive alive and in good spirit. I don't know what happened during shipping or selecting but he does seem to have swim bladder issues. His tail is always pointing down.

Such cuties <3
I only ordered 1 betta, but I got 2! Bit of a surprise lol but very happy honestly I had 2 extra cycled tanks,1 for my betta and one for a future fish, but it worked out! They came in very good condition and had a great shipping time, as well as packaging. They both came with heat packs and some sort of packing fluff, and were alive and very lively. Great value for the amount I paid and great shipping time. SO so happy! Their names are Drogo (2nd pic) & Astro (1st pic)! *they are in separate tanks*

Beautiful Betta Bad Experience Resolved
I received a beautiful fish. His blue coloring is very rich and his shape is very symmetrical and well formed. I’d say he is one of the best looking bettas I’ve had. The package took four days to get to Virginia and when I got him he was swimming vertically when he would surface for air and he spent a solid day on the bottom of the tank. I thought he would die but by day two he was coming out more and exploring the aquarium for short periods before returning to the bottom to rest. By the end of day two he came from the bottom frequently so it seems he has recovered from the shipping stress or whatever was plaguing him. If you live far from Texas, it is possible the fish will struggle as well. But they are gorgeous fish and it is worth the risk in my opinion. My only complaint is that there was no option to pay extra for overnight shipping. Update: It’s now been several weeks since I received this fish. He never stopped laying most of the day at the bottom of the aquarium. He ventures out briefly on occasions like before. He never fully recovered. I treated him with a broad spectrum antibiotic but there was no change. I got in touch with a veterinarian and was told he showed evidence of ammonia poisoning which is definitely not my aquarium as it’s established and has not had any since it was cycled a year ago. I verified this before and after receiving him with an API Master Kit. He said based on how he swims he has permanent damage to his swim bladder and he recommended I humanely euthanize the fish as it’s quality of life will be severely degraded and he seems to be struggling to swim to the surface and do normal activities like eating and such. I’m not happy. I’ve requested a replacement and will be returning the fish as I don’t have the means to humanely euthanize a fish. The bag I received him in had Asian markings on it and I’m not sure this fish was ever removed from an international shipping bag before he was forwarded to me. Though that is an assumption, I feel it’s an accurate one as I can’t see why a dealer in Texas would have bags with a foreign language and not English to ship fish with in America. For the time being I am lowering my review to three stars. If the seller replaces him with a healthy fish I will raise it to four stars. Update: Finally got a normal betta. He is smaller so obviously younger which I like. No issues. Seller did a good job resolving the issue. Four stars for the initial issue but beautiful fish for sure.
