As advertised if used properly (EDIT)
The thermostat is easy to implement, but I would not recommend the heating pad to anyone who needs a pad that goes above 75 degrees. I have a bulb for the day and the heating pad to supplement the night heat, but the tank is getting down to almost 65 degrees on the warm side (It's February in PA and the indoor night temperatures are between 65 - 70). I thought that I'd be saving money with the bundle, but I'll be spending more money to get a better pad that can get warm enough. I think this is a great pad if you only need the temperatures I described above, but is a little too close to the minimum for what my corn snake needs.Edit: I moved the temperature probe to the bottom of the tank. The temperatures are much higher and now appropriate for my snake. I had placed the probe on the side of the tank, about 2 inches above the base and the measurements were 5-10 degrees F lower than they actually were.

good heater
I've had it for about 9 months now and it's worked good for me so far. The only thing to note is that you'll want to make sure the temperature probe is fastened to the heat pad and use a infared thermometer to dial it in properly (checking periodically for consistency). Otherwise it'll be heating inconsistent and off a few degrees.

Works Great but temp isn’t exact.
This product works well, my snakes tank stays warm and she seems very happy. The temp isn’t exact, I had to play with it til I found the temp that would keep it where it needed to be.

It's working great, but it keeps falling off the bottom
The reviews have been right so far. It works great, heats up well, and looks nice. But the adhesive sucks..

Affordable and no issues!
This was perfect for my leopard gecko! Had no trouble setting it up and it’s been about 2 months now with no technical issues. I’m glad I bought the one with the thermostat, makes it a lot easier to find balance for him. Highly recommend

Seems to work good
Works great sticks to tank bottom very well cleaned the tank bottom with rubbing alcohol before applying. The temperature is off by about 10 degrees shows 90 runs 80 etc but it hold temp very well. I’ve had it a few months now and still working great

Works fine under 80 degrees
I have the probe under the tank and set to the highest temp (107 degrees)My temperature gun is reading 95 directly on the mat when the thermostat reads 107. The temperature of the surface substrate is reading 80. I like to keep my kingsnakes hot side between 85-87 on top substrate so he can burrow deeper to 90 if needed.I'm going to have to replace the mat. It doesn't get hot enough. Hopefully the thermostat can regulate the correct temperature with a mat that can get a little hotter.

Homemade proofing box
I use this heating pad like some others: in a proofing box for for sourdough bread and cultures. Came already calibrated and works perfectly for when it too cold in my home to proof at room temperature. Setting the temperature is easy and doesn't take long to heat a sealed 2 cubic foot fridge up 10 or 20 degrees from room temp. It maintains the temperature +/- 5F degrees all day. It has even less variation if I don't open the door. I didn't use the adhesive, but left the sticker backing on since its inside a space.
