Mine was missing the metal pick
Well, it did not come with the metal pick so a hobby knife was used instead. I did find out how water got into the phone in the first place. Being a refurb it was never fully sealed up when they worked on it last. So for now my phone sits in a bag of rice to soak up remaining moisture. I did get 75% power right out of the box but bcuz of the water, it keeps rebooting..... As for the battery, it came with adhesive already on it so the included adhesive was extra. It was an exact match for size and specs. Make sure you view and read several YouTube videos to see how to take the phone apart. It's not really hard. Just a little tedious. Take your time.As long as the phone dries out I'm hoping there are no further issues with the phone.

More difficult to install for the avg. Joe
I can't really give an honest review on the batter but I can on the kit overall. I bought this kit after reading the reviews thinking that I could update the battery myself. Nope, I could not. I think I got to step 2 in the directions and gave up. When I tried to take the back off my phone the glass started to crack. There were no cracks in the phone before hand. I used a blow dryer to heat up the glue as instructed but it did not seem to help. Currently the kit sits in a drawer and I am using my old battery.

Battery is good thus far.
Battery is good so far. Been a few months at least. No issues. 4 instead of 5 stars is the things that came with it. The screwdriver and things are meh.. quality. Buy it for the battery, hope you have the other tools for it.

Cheaper than a new phone but takes skill.
If you have some skill you can save money instead of buying a new phone. Adhesive part is kind of hard there is no directions of how to do the adhesive.i figured it out but it isn't the easiest thing to do.

battery cable broke inside phone
purchased October 31, 2018, used every day in a galaxy s8. I only installed because the repair I was doing to my phone required the battery to be removed completely. I thought hey might as well buy a new one preventative maintenance. I noticed from the start that the battery life did not seem as good as a used Samsung battery I took out but I could live with it. fast forward to today the battery cable on the end of the battery started falling off and eventually feel off completely inside the phone. have now replaced this battery with a Samsung oem or at least they (another seller) said it was an oem seems to be working a lot better.

long life
this has double the life of my original battery. it was not "easy" to install but not exactly difficult either.....

Good capacity, easy to install
Bought this to replace a battery that I accidentally punctured while replacing a broken screen. I think the low power draw of the OLED screen helps, but I have left the phone on for hours at a time during a 12-hour shift, and still had a little power left by the time I got home.

Burned my motherboard
The tools that come with the product are sufficient enough to open the phone. You will still need a blow dryer to warm up the glue. But the battery is so cheap that it ruined the entire phone. After the installation the phone turned on for a few hours but died again. I took it to a repair shop and was told the motherboard was burnt because of using a fake/cheap battery and it would cost more to replace the motherboard than the phone is actually worth. Nonetheless, the phone was garbage and I had buy a new one but worse than that was all the unrecoverable data I lost. Do yourself a favor and invest in an original battery
