Fun for the tub!
We got these boats for our son to play with in the tub. He's almost 2 and didn't have any tub toys, so we thought these would be fun for him. I really like them for a couple reasons.First, they are durable, but still soft enough to squish a little, which is fun for the bath. They don't have any seams of note, so there's no way for water to get inside and grow bacteria. I've put them in the dishwasher to sanitize, and they've come out great.Second, they are magnetic, so it adds to the multiple ways to play with them. My son likes to put them all together and push them around the tub. He also likes to "stick" them against the tub - since ours is metal, the boats stick to the sides, which he thinks is a lot of fun.As he gets a little older, the magnetic parts will be more educational to start to explain magnetic fields. The only negative, in my opinion, is that I wish the magnet that is used was a bit stronger, as they can separate rather easily. If they stuck together a bit better, I think the boats could be even more fun and have additional uses. All in all though, I found this toy to be worth the money, and a fun addition to bath time. My son stays in the tub much longer these days, and we can not only have fun, but get him clean!

Fun Magnetized Boats Suitable For Tubs And Wading Pools
The only thing that makes these ordinary boats special is magnet power. Our two year old likes connecting them together, but be forewarned the boats only link up one way. Even so, our toddler likes playing with these in the tub and wading pool. We have had no leaking issues. I bought our set through Amazon Warehouse, so the price was quite reasonable.

Ours work great
I feel so bad for the people who got leaky boats. We have had ours now for quite some time with no leaks. The paint job on ours seems fine as well, though not perfect, but then my expectations for toys built in China are never very high, especially when it comes to cosmetics. These boats float great and the magnets are strong enough to attract the other boats when they get about an inch apart. They have decent repel power as well for the opposite end of the boat, though at a much closer distance.Since they work so much like the Thomas Trains we have, my son loves them.We got ours at a decent price from a seller who has their stuff fulfilled by amazon, so we took a chance and were one of the lucky ones that got great boats. When they work, I recommend them, but from other reviews, maybe only on the days you're feeling lucky.

Sent to a poor family in Thailand with two boys ages 7 and ...
As a kid hours were spent in the bath tub playing with water toys. What kid wants to take a bath? Ha! Give a water toy and what kidwants to not take a bath. Let's call it an education toy on healthy habits. Yeah! Sent to a poor family in Thailand with two boys ages7 and 9. In Thailand they go to the swimming pool every day and now have become super heroes when their friends see the many water toys they bring for play. They say the favorite is the shark toy and the wind up submarines. Today most all toys are high-techelectronic toys. Great to see that things so simple as a water toy can make so many children happy. To my surprise I learnedThai people are so respectful to old folks like me. In appreciation the family went to their Temple to pray for my wife and I.

They don't tip or sink...
These little boats are pretty basic. But unlike most of our bath toys, they do not tip over or take on water and sink. And because they don't fill up, if they get thrown out of the tub they don't leak a quart of water all over the floor. That's why they are Mom's favorite of the bath toys. The kids think they're a lot of fun because we have an iron/porcelain tub, so the magnet end of each boat sticks to the bathtub, as well as connecting to the other boats. You can see the gears turning in their little minds as they play with the magnets. So, I think these are pretty good toys and not so overpriced. Yes, they're more than the little boats you can buy at a discount store. But these don't sink or go bottoms up, or quit working for lack of a battery. Just a good, basic toy.

Loose seal around magnets - water gets inside boats
I was impressed with the quality when we first started using these boats. The plastic is thick and high quality, the boats float well and the magnets are strong. After about two weeks of use, water started getting inside of the boats which made them sink. I realized that the seal around the magnets wasn't tight, which caused bath water to get inside. You can easily squirt the water out of the boats but I am concerned about mold growing inside of the toys. Part of the reason I purchased these bath toys was because I didn't think I would have to worry about water getting inside. We have had to throw out way too many moldy bath toys, and I'm afraid we will probably be throwing these out for the same reason in a few months.

Hurry and buy, kids love these little boats!
These little boats are ideal for bath time fun! Our 3 yr old loves to pull them around with another larger boat and pretend to be captain of the tub.The three boats are each a bit smaller than the lead tug boat and the magnet that holds them together only allows the child to place them in order of size. We say the "Pappa boat...Momma boat ..and the baby boat." Our little one gets a kick out of them being separate, yet also a unit if he wishes. They also cannot sink and keep upright beautifully. I would recommend these darling tug boats highly! They have stayed their bright colors and have provided hours of bathtub fun.

Fun for hours
My 20-month old son plays with the magnetic boats in the tub all the time. He gets so much enjoyment out of lining up the boats in order and then rearranging them in a different order. He's really into Thomas trains so in the tub these boats are his Thomas substitute. There have been times where he just was not in the mood for the boats and so I had to switch out the bath toys to give him variety, but overall, he loves the boats. We've had them for about a month now.

Cute looking toys
These are nice looking little bath toys which I bought because I liked the fact that they are magnetic. Unfortunately I can only give them 3 stars because one of the boats magnets does not work. I have not returned them because I have bought them for some little visitors to use when they come to stay in a few days time.

loves them
My 2 year old loves these and I love that they don't take in water! Less black mouldy toys to have to soak in Milton! They're pretty cheap and as such are quite basic but great. The magnets also only work in a set order...2 year old figured it out quicker than me!

Brilliant boats - they don't tip over in the water ...
Brilliant boats - they don't tip over in the water and the magnets are great for pulling them along in a convoy. Best bit is they don't take in water so no mouldy insides.

My son loves these.
My son loves these. Only gave 4 stars as 2 of the magnets have fallen off inside the boats so they only connect together in a certain way

Good value for bathtime fun
These have proved a firm favourite at Bathtime. They are bright and colourful enough to keep my little boys interest, they are also lightweight and easy for him to pick up and throw around the tub. The magnets are well integrated and have enough pull to hold the boats together in the water which seems to be very important to him.Overall i highly recommend these boats.
