Quick and Easy Set-Up; Mediocre DVD control
I was very pleased and impressed with how quickly the remote connected to both my (10+ year-old Vizio) TV and my (1-year-old Roku Express) streaming media player. I entered the listed codes manually, for both devices. In both cases, the first code listed worked like a charm. I'm not very techy, but after reading and following the instructions, it all went very smoothly for both devices. I love that the buttons light up, and are a good size to read. They feel just a little spongey when pressed (I prefer a more defined, firm, "click" feel for buttons), but it was manageable. When entering numeric codes that ended with 5, I had to push the 5 twice to get it to light up and connect. Not sure whether that was intended/designed, or a result of the spongey-ness. I also have a (5-year-old Samsung) DVD player whose remote had been corroded over time. I purchased what I thought was the replacement remote for the model/serial number, but it didn't work. It's possible my DVD player is old enough that dedicated remotes are no longer available. That was my initial reason for trying this universal remote. I hoped the universal remote would control all the same functions as the old, included DVD remote. This universal remote does power my DVD player on and off, and it does open and close the DVD drawer. But I couldn't get it to show the DVD menu (for options like subtitles or special film features). I manually entered every code listed for a Samsung DVD player, and some of those codes did work to power on/off, and open/close the drawer. I then cycled through the instructions to let the remote seek and find its own codes, with the same result. I tested a few different DVDs, but never could get as far as playing the movie, so I couldn't test pause, fast forward, or rewind functions (I saw only the opening FBI warning screen and producer logo screens). Maybe my DVD player is just finally dying, and no remote can help. On closer inspection, I realized that this universal remote's description and instructions indicate only that it will power on/off and open/close DVD players; there is nothing that says it can access DVD menus or control playback. It's possible a newer DVD player might accept more codes or connect with more DVD functions. So overall, this is a really great remote for at least TVs and Streaming; it may work very well with newer, fancier DVD players and other components as well. The instructions are clear, and set-up was fully complete within 30-60 seconds for 2/3 of my devices.

Simple and covers all my gear.
This is a great remote. I've had no issues with it. Setting the codes took a little bit of trial and error with the multiple methods they offer to do it. In the end manual setting worked fine. I really like the light up buttons. The main reason for this remote was a used DVD player we got. It worked perfect for that and the TV and our Roku. All in one and it's not overly bulky with a lot of wasted buttons. Highly recommend if you need a simple remote.

Not rainbow colors like in the pic
I thought it was rainbow colors like in the pic, but you just get to select A color. So was a little disappointed with that, but it works well so far.

Excellent Remote
Great remote and the set-up was so easy! It took me longer to get it out of the packaging then to set it to my television, :) The back lighting is perfect! Great price for the quality!

So far, so good!
The remote to my tv stopped working & reaching for the buttons on the back grew old real fast. And the use of separate remotes for 3 devices was already annoying. This remote is easy to program. The light colored buttons make it easy to locate on my dark upholstery & I like their placement. Mute is very important when commercials are a possibility, so I prefer it in an easily accessible location. The blue backlight is brighter than necessary, but it’s certainly easy to read in the dark! lol I like the compact size of the remote. But as another has mentioned, the rounded back isn’t a great design, as the remote tends to roll off the arm off the sofa too easily. I was surprised to find a universal remote, with all the features I wanted at this price…I hope it stands the test of time!

Works well with Samsung TV & ROKU Premier+ Box
Works perfectly with the Samsung Q80D and Roku Premier Plus box. (Note to this below regarding the TABLO app on Samsung TV) The Samsung app for Tablo crashes daily and requires a soft reset on the TV to fix, however using the RUKU box fixes that problem. Additionally, the Samsung & Roku support staff state that there is not a single remote control that has complete functionality with both systems, however this clearly works just fine.

Bright & easy to use, but a battery hog
This was really easy to program for my old Sony flatscreen tv. Basically almost right of the box worked and paired to my old TV. It's a good size, not small at all, and appears lightweight, if you like that, but I do seem to prefer sturdier and heavier products. The light is quite bright and helpful, and the button layout is great and easy to feel around for buttons. Perhaps with the light being so bright, the batteries DO NOT last long. I only ordered this a few months ago and already had to change the two AAA batteries. We don't even watch tv too much, plus mostly use the Roku remote we have plugged in to the TV, or use our phones to control the TV. The original remote for my Sony TV had a remote whose batteries lasted YEARS, and for this remote you'll only get a few months, even with limited use. Not happy that I'll have to buy tons of batteries.

Great remote for a great price
Excellent remote. Worked right out of the box, no programing required and performed all the functions of the remote it was replacing. Backlight is great, press any button and the keys are easy to see.
