NBA 2K7 - Xbox

First of all, let me sum this article up, this game is worth $19.99 IF you're not buying xbox 360 anytime soon. For those who have played last year's 2K6, yes, 2K7 has the same great graphics! But gameplay has improved mostly defensively. example, Mike Dunleavy, like in real life, is NOT driving to the basket dunking on three defenders. Like in real life, as long as you have a decent shot blocker down low, no one can dunk at will with exceptions like King James, Air Canada, T-Mac and Kobe of course. Defense has improved alot. You can not drive to the hole with your poing guard every play. There is also improvement with crowd noise and momentum swing just like the real NBA. At first I didn't want to get this game because I thought it would just be a roster update, but gameplay has improved for the best. This basketball game is the BEST since NBA Live 2001 on PS1! I'm glad 2K sports can at least beat EA with this since they took the best football game ever away!

While I still contend that the 2k series is better than the Live series at being a more accurate, fun and realistic approach to basketball, I was really disappointed with this years go around. Not because it's a bad game by any means, but because it's nearly exactly like 2k6 in terms of the play. Whereas the xbox 360 version features new player movements, animations, etc. this one is just last years version with new rosters. If you own a 360, definitely spend the $60 to get that version, but if you're like me and stuck with the old xbox and already own 2k6 then this isn't worth your time. However, if you don't own any basketball games and are wondering between this and Live, 2k7 is where your money should go. I guess last year's version pushed everything it could out of the xbox, so there's not much more they could've done. Maybe that's why this game was $30.

Nba 2k7 is a good game great graphics good gameplay a great franchise mode which is called the association there is also a season mode some people say the Manuel doesn't say how to save s season it doses

It works once in a while freeze alot during the game!!!!

Not bad! Obviously not as slick as the 360 version. But, I don't have a 360. Great graphics, many extras and easy to navagate. I really enjoy this game!

6 year old plays it all the time

My 9 yr old son loves the game. The graphics are great. The interaction is better than some of the other basketball games out there.
