Crosstour CT9500 Real 4K Action Camera Underwater Camera (4K 20MP WiFi Underwater 40M Waterproof Anti-Shake Helmet Camera 2 1350mAh Batteries)

I purchased a Crosstour CT-9000 back in May and decided to get another action camera and found they have upgraded the camera. I liked the CT-9000 because it had a lot of accessories, came with two batteries and had built-in realtime viewing via Wi-Fi. This upgraded version, CT-9500, is even better. The battery door is attached, the ports have a dust cover, the software has been changed to make it easier to operate. The waterproof case also has a safety latch so the door can’t be opened by accident. The only thing I miss is the two button wireless remote.My other camera, the CT-9000, is my daily dash-cam, but this camera has a better mounting shell. See the pics for a comparison. The new shell lets you insert the camera from the back side so it’s easier to pop out when you get out of the car.This is not a GoPro, but this is software is the closest I’ve touched. The shooting angle for the lens can be changed, the SSID and password for the Wi-Fi can be changed, the setting to loop recordings is al lot easier to set now with it’s own menu, ISO and White Balance can be changed to prevent the picture or video from changing between shots.If you have a multi camera project you can get three or four of these cameras for the price of new GoPro. If one gets damaged or lost, you still have several cameras.The customer service is via email and they have answered all of my questions promptly. i.e.: Q: “Why is the camera’s 4K mode not listed?” A: I was not using a Class 10 card, formatted in camera. If the card does not report as able to handle the transfer rate, the camera won’t try to record when It can’t be written to card. Q: “Why does the 20MP photo resolution not appear in the menu?” A: The “Burst Mode” was on. You can’t take ten 20MP photos in short time because even a class 10 card and the sensor’s cache will not handle that volume of data in just a couple of secondsIMHO: This is one of the best values on action camera. I’ll update this review if any issues pop up.

I were looking for a good quality affordable little camera that wasn't too expensive for our Bali trip. There are tons of cameras to choose from, so we read a lot of reviews for weeks before purchasing this Crosstour 4K Action camera. The camera came in a really nice box (love the design!!). This 4K Ultra HD camera is high resolution with adjustable wide lens, and it can takes 20MP pictures!!!( That’s Amazing!)Moreover, there are a lot of accessories that will be very useful for us because we have never owned this type of camera before. Various types of mountings are included, so we could attach them to our helmet, snorkel mask, or bike. We got confused about using these accessories before contact Crosstour, but there is no more question when someone called ‘Winter’ answered my email within 5 hours! (very nice customer support) Winter told me that there was a video that taught us to install these accessories on the yutube!The waterproof case is a PLUS, and I use the underwater mode to capture beautiful creatures under the sea. (The below video&picture shows the high quality of this camera) Two batteries are provided which I am really pleased. Each battery may last for 90 minutes, and battery charger is very convenient for us.But the SD card is not included in the package Even though, it does not come with a memory card, but I just spent only 12 dollar for 128GB which is not much comparing to a 200-300 dollars camera with an SD card. This Crosstour camera is taking very good video quality for the price, and it is as good as an expensive camera. BUILT-IN WiFi is a very good feature, that I can operate my camera by using my iphone. I highly recommend this Crosstour camera to anyone because it can be used anywhere and anytime I want.

The 4K and 20MP options give a stunning view and the video is nearly flawless even while riding a bike. I mostly use this to record video while riding and other sports (kayaking coming soon and hopefully scuba).
