I use to wear normal swim shorts but they always bothered me. These were a bigg difference.

I am 6’4” and 200 pounds. The XL were perfect. I have a flat stomach and would not buy then if you don’t. They won’t look right.They are shorter than other similar items but my wife loved them. Some other people commented on the pouch. I found it great.

Love the contour pouch, nice material, wish they made these in a longer length so I could wear them in public.

I bought these for husband. I tried them on myself, but haven't let him know we have them yet. I am a women's size 8 in jeans, waist 30 in men's, bought the M here. They're pretty tight, so sizing up might be a good idea. There's a pouch for the junk in front. I'm not sure if it will be enough and how it will fit him, but we will see. The stripes on the usa pattern hit in a very good spot to flatter the bottom.

At 155lbs and 32" waist I chose a medium size because my previous buy of the square leg "Black Patch" style was too big in a large. I see that previous style is no longer offered and the "Black Patch" was a different style so look closely at the styles as I am assuming the different styles fit differently. As to the American Flag style, it is very well made, seems to be a heavier material with thicker elastic bands in the waist and legs and has a nice but thin liner. The pouch in a medium size is not generous and has a vertical seam that rubs, well, where it should not rub. The leg holes also cut into my thighs. Given that the "Black Patch" swim suit in a large was to0 big and the "American Flag" style in a medium is too small, I must be a tweener and unfortunately conclude I cannot wear a Project 5I swimsuit and have it fit correctly.

One of the main reasons I chose to order one of these styles of swim suits is because it shows the seams as being down the front-sides - not down the center as a divider. I was hoping it would be more like a pouch fit in the front, to avoid having to divide my package across a front seam, which is uncomfortable and awkward. However, there are three seams in the front - one on each side, then one in the middle. Still, I like the way it fits and looks. The front pouch is lined, so even with the white patterned part (I ordered the blue and white houndstooth), you can't see through. The aforementioned stitching is effective at keeping the goods in place, and not creating an obvious outline, so to speak. I'm 6', 175 lbs., 37-inch waist, and got size XL. It fits just right on the waist, but would have liked it a bit more snug around the boys and legs. It stays where it needs to stay in use, and covers all my assets. The white parts in the back and sides are more translucent than the lined part - so you can see a little bit of flesh color through when it's wet, but nothing scandalous. It was a toss up between this color and the key-pattern red; next time I would opt for the red instead.

Well.. someone painted a flag on a banana. Definitely snug and accentuates the under carriage.Material is thick enough to not give it alllll away but expect onlookers to question your choices and their girlfriend to smirk and smile at you.
