My Two Cents
I read a lot of the reviews before I bought this game, and thought I'd add my opinion to the mix. I've played Grant Turismo 3 and Project Gotham before, and recently bought a cheap used copy of Grid, so these are the games I can make comparisons to. Recently I decided to get the Racing Wheel and this game to get a new experience out of my 360. The short review is that I really like the wheel, and the game is good too. Graphics - are good. The mountain scenes where you look in the distance are detailed. The cars look good, and the light shifts on the hood (which actually messes me up somtimes since I use the view with just the hood) Physics - awesome. I really feel the difference in the cars. They all drive differently. Gameplay - The game is beautifully designed, but as some people have mentioned, the feel of the game can be a little sterile at times. Granted, I knew this going in, but it lacks some of the excitement of a more arcade style game like Grid, where the cars are all over the place. AI - One thing that is a little different in this game are your AI opponents. I remember in GT3, how the cars raced perfectly and never deviated from their path one inch. If I cut in front of them, they politely braked and let me pass. This game, however, is the complete opposite. The cars are constantly spinning me out and merging into me on curves. It's a little frustrating to be next to a car on a turn, and they just keep creeping at you forcing you into the grass. Another thing I've noticed is that if I'm ahead going into a sharp turn, and hit the brakes, there's always a car riding my a$$, and I assume I'm taking the turn too slow, let off the brake, and proceed to take the turn too hard and end up in the grass. It's confusing; the AI seem to be able to take corners at a lot more speed than me. I do like how the AI plays cat and mouse with you, coming up behind you, or not letting you pass. Upgrades - I know some people like going into the garagae and making upgrades to their cars, but I could care less. All I want to do is race, and the game will automatically do this for you which is nice. Cheats - I don't like most of the cheats and have turned most of them off. It doesn't feel like you're really driving if the computer is doing your braking for you, but for some people who aren't that good, I could see these cheats making the game more approachable. I do have to agree with one of the reviews about the XP though. If you play with the cheats on, you win and get more XP which gives you points to upgrade your cars, but if you turn them off, you lose more and can't upgrade your cars before races. Difficulty - I've been playing on Medium, which is about right for me. I briefly turned it to Hard, and was left in the dust. I kind of wish there was a setting somewhere between these two though. On Medium, I've spun out, hit walls etc. and still have come from way behind to win the race, which is kind of a hollow victory in a way. On Hard, the cars are near perfection, and after braking too much going into a curve, I fall to last place and am never able to catch up again. Licenses etc. - Some people mentioned that they miss driving for licenses that allow you to enter races. In GT3, it got a little tedious being stuck at one point in the game until you passed the license test. I like improving as I go along, however, doing something different like obstacle courses is a fun diversion at times. Maybe they should put some sort of side mission in the game where you can go to driving school if you want to. Crashing - I always go into a driving game saying I'm going to play it right, but soon start crashing it up in order to win. Since the AI is always crashing into me, I've gotten into the bad habit of using them as a cushion on a sharp curve because they're going to crash into me anyway. I wish the AI was a little more careful, and then I would be too. Online - I haven't played online, so I can't say if it's good or bad. The game comes with a free month of XBOX Live if you need it. The Second Disc - Someone's review complained that there was a second disc. It's true that it eats up about 4 GB of your HDD, but I think it shows that the developers put a lot of effort into the game since they needed a second disc filled with tracks and cars. Four Screens - If you have the money and inclination, you can set up 4 screens for this game for the front, two side views and rear view mirror. That's awesome. Forza vs. Gran Turismo - This game is good, and I'm sure the next Gran Turismo will be good too. What's the argument? I don't understand.

If you're sitting on the fence maybe this can help...
If you don't know, Forza Motorsport is a simulation racing game and it's an Xbox 360 exclusive. The point of this review is to give my thoughts on the game and to help people decide Forza is right for them. First off I should tell you that there is a demo available on the marketplace which gives you a taste of what's to come. When you first start the game it'll ask you if you would like to install the additional content on the 2nd disc that ships with the package. It contains I think about 100 cars and some tracks and it will tax your hard drive 1.9GB so arcade owners or people short on space (like me) beware. You can play the game without installing the additional content just know that you'll be missing some stuff. Pros Graphics: Well I'm currently playing on a 21 inch standard def TV and I think it looks amazing. I absolutely think that it is quite possible to destroy your mind with the right video set up. The menus are clean and neat and is full of smooth, crisp transitions. It's a lot of white with the information you need to see popping out. Just think BBC news, if you know how that looks. I haven't unlocked all the cars in the game so I can't speak with definite authority but I think that they all feature interior views which gives you a a lot of viewing room unlike past games. Content: More cars than you can shake a stick at. While this isn't a GT5 VS FM3 review I should mention that people may scoff and say "400 cars? GT has 8 or 900", but honestly, do you really need that much? I know I certainly don't because the cars that I want to take around the 'ring are here. (I used to play GT mind you) Customization: The livery editor has been given a great update that makes it easier for designers to quickly edit and share content and believe you me, the work that some of these guys have on the online storefront is nothing short of sorcery I tell you. I have to acknowledge what these guys do, you'll be amazed, and the best part is that most of the designs are free (well for now anyway). Gameplay: Forza is really a game that appeals to anyone. If you want to just hold the gas and steer a little or if you have a kid the assists make it possible. If you want more realism you can turn off all the assists, traction control, stability management and anti breaking system and race your heart out. It even has clutch shifting for manual transmission. Cons: Forza isn't a totally fault free game. Some of the car interiors have gauges that don't work. From what I've observed, for cars with digital gauges, if your racing and their is an Xbox notification or you bring up the guide, the dash will flicker and look glitched. Another thing is the prices of upgrades, whole the prices of the cars aren't too shabby (and you get some pretty sweet free ones early on) it's the upgrades that drain your winnings. If you wanna take say an R34 Skyline and make it an S class car then you'd better be prepared to pay out the you know where. Again I'll say that I haven't even passed the 50% mark in the game so I don't know how money will be coming in later down but right now I'm sitting rather well with my winnings. If you wanna upgrade every car you get and buy every car at the onset just give it time, you'll waste your money and you may very well be awarded the same car you just bought. Online, well you don't have to look too far to see what other people are saying, but...meh, you'll either like it or hate it. Overall I'll say that FM3 is a great game and it isn't deserving of the one stars that other people are giving it. For a game to be one star it has to be utter garbage, like say a movie tie in game that was made without effort. My rating for this game is really 4.5 but there are no half stars, but I think it leans more towards 5 than 4. I hope this helps, see you guys on the track.

The racing genre has not seen a finer game than Forza
I played Forza MS 2 and I loved that game, but 3 is just incredible. I'm really impressed by the accuracy of the physics and modeling, and how great the game plays. But I'm absolutely floored by how much you can do to your car. The performance upgrades go deep, and it's amazing how Turn 10 managed to really map out the options for every car. Tuning also goes deep, however depending on which upgrades you've performed you might be limited to what you can tune. Igntion, fuel manaement, intake, valves, pistons. You can overbore cylinders. You can do even do an entire engine swap or drivetrain conversion! Different engines also have different aspiration conversion options, and you can go from single chargers to dual with certain engines. And it all changes the numbers. Every option changes how your car runs. The AI is really challenging, and you're actually racing against profiled drivers that have their own characteristics. In many games they just have names and a difficulty, but no real logic. The scoring (credits) system rewards you for higher difficulty. For the best experience I've turned off all assists except for ABS, set AI to medium (they get tough on HARD), automatic transmission (racing with a controller here) recommended driving line to Brake Only (the line shows up only for braking), and physics to simulation. This amounts to a 50% bonus on credits earned for racing, which is a great way to pay for more upgrades. If there's a flaw to be found it's that body options are limited. Front and rear bumpers, side skirts, hoods, spoilers, and rims is about it. And with the exception of rims there's only a few manufacturers to chose from. I do give Turn 10 major props for how the Weight Reduction and Chasis Reinforcement performance upgrades do change the insides of the car. You can also change your ride height (through upgrades to the suspension system as well as tuning). And of course there's the cars. LOTS OF CARS. Every manufacturer I can think of is represented (save Kia I believe). So here's the breakdown: +Plenty of cars and tracks, with many track options +Jaw dropping detail to every car and track +Unrivaled physics simulation +Challenging AI and gameplay +Truly incredible depth of performance options The distinctive leading franchise in online multiplayer racing, all wrapped up in what is my opinion THE CLEANEST MENU INTERFACE OF ANY RACING GAME EVER! So there it is. Forza Motorsport 3 is just the racing game to have this gen, good job Turn 10. And whoops...um 4 (with Kinect support) is just around the corner! I got 3 'til then :D

outstanding racing game
This game is easily worth $100 compared to the poor to average stuff you pay $60 for these days. It has a huge number of tracks and cars and options for painting and tweaking your cars to personalize them. The A.I. has been improved and gives you a good humanlike race, unlike many other racers, where the A.I. is either to perfect always driving the same raceline robotically, or ramming you off the track like you were not there. The graphics are excellent, but not much improved from Forza 2, and not as photorealistic as Gran Turismo Prologues state of the art graphics. The force feedback and overall control is near perfect using a 360 joypad, it just feels right. However the forcefeedback and overall feel using the Microsoft xbox 360 steering wheel is just adequate and weaker than I had hoped for, but I think the problem is the wheel not so much the game. Perhaps a better quality wheel would perform better. The race tracks are numerous and fairly varied, and look excellent albeit a bit computerish and unphotorealistic compared to those in GT Prologue or even Grid. Overall this is the best racing game ever made, I think, if you like racing sims moreso than arcade racers. It is somewhat of an acquired taste, compared to more arcadish racers ( codemasters GRID being the best Arcade racer). The cars physics modeling is the best ever on a console, and is equal to all but a handful of the best racing sims on the PC. The cars just feel right and predictable, and unlike in many PC racing sims you get a very good sense of what speed you are going at any given moment, so you rarely enter a turn going 80 MPH thinking you are going a safe 40 MPH, which happens too often in many of the best PC racing sims. I bought the game for $40, which is a great value given the games depth and longterm replay value,a definite buy.

way better than forza 2
this is a very good game. i love it. its a whole lot to do in the game. the graphis is really good and there are so many cars to choose from. there is also more for you to choose from online to. i play a little bit of the online races and I havent seen any serious problems with it. frankly I could care less about the online experience with this game. as long as the offline content is good im happy. the only time i get on xbox live is to download more content. the little bit that i did play on xbox live was good though. no lag times or freeze ups. another reason i dont care to much about the online is because you need live gold and I have a free one month subscription to it. once it expires I wont be going back to gold. dont feel like paying the 50 bucks it cost for a 1 year subscription. but anyway, i like the in car view, wish you could see more of the interior though but its good. i also like how you could not only change the colors of race cars you can also upgrade the engines and other performance stuff. something you couldnt do on part 2. i highly recommend this game to any race fan and car fanatic. oh and i luv the price i paid for it also.

A Racing Game That's a Great Alternative To Gran Turismo
I used to play Gran Turismo. Then I got an Xbox 360. No more Gran Turismo... Fortunately, I found Forza Motorsport 3, which is, in many respects, superior than Gran Turismo (at least up to 4; I haven't played the one on the Playstation 3). I mostly do single player, so I can't comment on multiplayer at all. I've found that the customization in Forza is much more thorough and more involved than in Gran Turismo, which is definitely a good thing. It's nice to know that you can swap engines and drivetrains if you need to. As for the Performance Index, I can say that it is a rough calculation of a vehicle's performance based on individual components. As a result, two different vehicles with the same PI may be vastly different in terms of handling and performance characteristics. As for similarity in engine sounds, I can't really say I pay too much attention, though I do think that they're different and based in reality. I can't really say I've had any problems with this game in terms of glitching or anything like that, though installing it to your hard drive will appreciably decrease the loading times. Overall, I'd say that this is one of the most detailed, thorough, and well made racing games I've ever played. Don't take my word for it, though. Buy it and try it for yourself.

This game allows for the "Not So Perfect" driver!
Both my sons, 12 & 14, love this game! They can't say enough about it. I think the biggest feature they love the most on this game is the "rewind" feature in the game. See, if you're driving and you accidentally flip over, crash into another car, miss a turn or anything else; all you have to do is hit the rewind feature and the game goes backwards until you decide to stop and go forward again. You can use this feature as much as you like without any penalties! It drives me crazy watching them constantly rewind the game! They also have some really neat features in this game. You can paint your cars with decals, paint, stripes, Sponsors, tint, and so on. There is also a feature where you can do a "quick upgrade" for your car. The interaction is incredible as well as the graphics. You can literally see the dents on your car or someone else's car. The graphics are so real looking that you would almost swear that it was a real video and not animation done by a computer. The game offers lots of different cars and they grade them for you so you know how good a certain car is in regards to racing. You can also auction cars online (you can just put it up for auction and come back later to it, no need to sit and watch.) However, you do need XBox live Gold to be able to use the Auction feature or you can lose your car that you put up for the auction and not get money for it. The down feature is the online gaming part. The boys sometimes enjoy playing against others online, but this isn't a great game for that. The interaction on that part isn't quite as good as the game itself. You can drive through cars if you go the opposite direction, or they fly over you. There are a few other features of onlining that they didn't like.

Duda si es nuevo
Le pongo 4 por que no estoy seguro que haya sido nuevo. Aunque estaba con celofán no traia sello de xbox. Aunque no recuerdo si los juegos de 360 ya traían esos sellos.

Great Seller, Great Game.
Delivered on time, in great shape. I bought the used version, and it was like new. The game is great, lots of cars, flexible customizations, and infinite tuning possibilities. The tracks are all amazing for the age of the game and so are the physics. Love it.
