The product works very nicely, some people are complaining a little too much about the fridge at this price point. It's very spacious and cools down pretty low, to be honest . People are complaining about the buttons/touchscreen not working on the fridge ( and I'll admit the manual isn't very 'user friendly' ) but there is a work-around for this. It seems to have a set timer to lock the fridges settings so, all you have to do is hold the UNLOCK BUTTON and LIGHT BUTTON at the same time ((( TIPP: I like to use both my thumbs and press down on it with some good pressure you can also use a flat part of your fingers but you need fat fingers for this so stick with your 2 thumbs you'll see the adjustment and get used to it ))) and it unlocks the settings so you can adjust it again :) seems to have a poor touch-sensitive response but no big deal even for the price! The fridge does make a considerable amount of noise when cooling up and it does take a while but after a bit of time it quiets down completely! I would recommend this product, I got a completely black unit rather then silver but I love it more! Great customer support!!

I was looking for a very specific wine cooler. I wanted one that was a similar height and depth as my cabinets and allowed for bottles to be stored on the side as well as standing (for the ones that are opened an not finished as I haven’t been able to find wine stoppers that don’t leak). I also wanted to purchase within a certain price point and this one fit the criteria. The Pros: nice size, keeps the set temperature, allows for standing bottles (I removed 2 shelves), and an almost perfect fit. I’ve read reviews about the buttons not working but I believe people just didn’t understand the instructions and don’t know how to work it. You have to hold the lightbulb button before any function. For example, if you want to turn the light on, you hold the button til you hear the beep, the temp will flash, and then you press the bulb again and the blue light will be on. Same thing when you want to change the temp. Hold the light bulb til you hear the beep, the temp will flash, and then press the up or down arrow until you reach the desired temperature. The design is very sleek and I love the blue light. Cons: I believe I received a faulty cooler because I first had abnormally loud noise. I have a mini fridge in my office so I’m very familiar with the low humming noise that these things make, but it was more of a hum mixed with a very noticeable “whooshing” sound. I contacted customer service with videos and they gave me a credit for the inconvenience. I figured it was a noise I could live with since the tv drowns it out and it’s in the living room. However, I started to hear this weird popping sound. It happens randomly and just sounds like bang. Of course everytime I tried to catch it on video, I couldn’t. It just so happened to make the noise when I was making a social media video so you could hear in the background. Again, contacted customer service. They advised that it was likely the compressor. I honestly didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning and receiving a replacement so they kindly offered an additional partial refund that I will use to pay someone to check it out. I looked this up on google and it’s surprisingly not uncommon. Bottom Line: Great product for the price. I haven’t seen any other reviews that mentioned the popping sound so assuming this isn’t common among purchasers, and also assuming that their operating buttons aren’t broken and that they just haven’t figured out how to use, I would 100% recommend purchasing. Without the popping sound, I would’ve given 5 stars. The customer service was also superb. They respond swiftly via email and followed up via phone calls and text. Really appreciate it!

Ran ok for a little under 5 years, which is better than others we've had. Runs reasonably quietly.

It is appealing to the eyes, has a blue light to offer some ambiance Keeps your drinks cold, we don't use it for wine, but for soda/juice/water it still works great. Coldest temp is 40F which is plenty cold for drinks usually It's not very loud. We have ours in the living room area, if we are watching TV we cannot hear it run at all. My biggest complaint would be the quality of the shelves. One is glass, 2 are wire. The 2 wire shelves have a tendancy to sag under weight. I'm talking four 30oz bottles of water was too much I guess. So we are careful about what we put on those 2 shelves. Also, keep in mind, With a fridge this small when you open the door it lets almost ALL of the cold air out which requires it to work harder to get back to temp. If you are quick about it, it isn't too bad. But I have seen it go from 40F to 56F in less than 30 seconds while loading some drinks into it. So it is definitely more useful if you do not need to access it repeatedly all day long. But usually it is back to 40F in 15-20 minutes or so, it just uses more electricity that way.

It's been several days since I got this wine cooler and it is finally growing on me, albeit slowly. The reason I chose this particular model was its width, needed something no more than 19" wide. So, the larger capacity of 20+ bottles that "Antarctic Star" offers at this width was alluring. It was shipped via FedEx, but the fridge weighs ~50lbs. Shipping instructions indicate 2 people handling and upright shipping. I've watched a FedEx driver flip the box up the stairs end-over-end to my 3rd floor condo. 🤦🏼♂️ After I unpacked it, I realized how flimsy the packaging was, top and bottom of the box are held only by a plastic rope. At that point I started worrying about shipping damage. I wiped the inside which smelled strongly of plastic and let it sit for 4 hours without plugging it in, as indicated in the manual. I found manual a little incoherent, however it does include all pertinent info, more or less. Then it came time to turn it on. That thing is NOT silent when it is actively chilling. It's, basically, at the noise level of a similar size refrigerator. Don't even attempt to put your wine in it on the first day. I have used my food thermometer to assess how good it made and kept its cool. That's where things got really weird. When actively cooling, its current temperature gauge matches my thermometer. When it stops cooling, temp swings were up to 6°F while the gauge showed supposed preset temp. On a second day I figured out that if you set to 50°, the temp inside will stay at 55° (see my pic). This is my first wine cooler and may not know all of the nuances, but it should have been explained in the manual. We'll see how it holds up.
