Michel Design Works Vanity Tray, Peony

My wife and I are fans of Michel Design Works having purchased this brand in the past. We were looking for a something to store perfume bottles on. We shopped around but couldn't seem to find anything special enough to place on top of a lingerie cabinet. Then we stumbled on Michel Design Works' gorgeous decoupage vanity tray and that was it. Not only is it more beautiful in person, but it is a well made piece that really shines. It looks fancy, feels fancy and with its side handles makes for an attractive functional piece. Its highly reflective lacquer finish is reminiscent of Oriental furniture. The gloss really makes the colors pop. We both love it so much we decided to keep it in our main living area to ogle and display it in its purest form as art rather than utilitarian tray. I bought this tray to hold all my perfume bottles on my vanity. It's even more gorgeous in person! It feels substantial and well made and looks so pretty. Though I'm using it on my dressing table, I could definitely see this in an office or as a party tray. It would make a lovely gift for a bridal shower too. The colors are bright and vivid and the design is really attractive. This company makes so many things for the home that are drool worthy! I highly recommend this tray.

Good quality...bright vivid colors...Pay attention to the dimensions though. I thought I had ordered a full size tray, but it is smaller than a standard tray.

I use the windowsill as my end table, and over the last summer the paint got a bit messed up from coffee cup rings and so on. After fixing that up, I bought this tray (which fits perfectly) to use as a combination of a coaster and windowsill-protector. I also keep my essential knitting tools (scissors, seaming needle) in the tray with it for easy access. It is a very nice quality and since our living room is blue and pale yellow, it looks quite nice! I recommend.

Putting in a granite counter in my bathroom and wanted a tray to place things in that would lessen the possibility of staining. Wow, this is even more beautiful than the picture and the laminated surface will, I'm sure, make it easier to clean. It appears very well crafted. I expect to appreciate it for years to come.
