This phone is perfect me as I'm constantly on the go. If you are a little clumsy at times then thos phone could be perfect for you as well. I've dropped it a couple times, I must admit, but you'd never know from looking at my phone. Sometimes I'll accidentally put it in my pocket with my keys or what have you and, I swear, it has the most scratch resistant screen I've ever seen. It's loud, has crisp videos with remarkable clarity. I only have to charge it once every few days as it has a nice, large battery. Works flawlessly and is pretty fast to boot. Rugged is an understatement. It has a little weight to it but one gets used to that pretty quickly. The clarity of videos is amazing. Very clear. The G1 phone is undoubtedly the BEST phone I've ever owned and I've went through a ton of cell phones. It's very affordable and for it's price... You get way more than you pay for. Can't go wrong with this one!

UPDATE After using the phone for about a month with no issues, the android system updated and now I can't connect to my T-MOBILE network. I have tried restarting, reinserting the SIM card, resetting the network settings all with no success. I have enjoyed the battery life and rugged design, but if I can't connect to my network then it is just an overpriced battery pack and not worth 1 star. I have messaged the seller. If this problem can be fixed quickly then I will go back to 5 stars, but for now... Avoid this phone.

3rd update , This phone now randomly shuts off stops working during texting is completely unfunctional I have thrown it in the trash and bought a Samsung do not waste your money on any garbage from this company ! Here's an update this phone is absolute trash don't waste your money on this cheap garbage phone , it randomly turns off for hours at a time will not restart then randomly starts on its own, absolute junk I will never buy a phone from this company again what a waste of money cheap Chinese trash!!!!!! I have had this phone for about 4 months and this is my third Okutel phone , unfortunately this is not as good as my first 2 it fails to connect to Internet wi fi easily and if you don't notice you will use data without being noticing it's very inconvenient. The other issue this phone has is the screen is chipping in several places around the edges , I'm not very hard on my phone I buy it mostly for the waterproof feature as I have a pool. Disappointed in this current model don't think I will be back for a 4th.

I've bought it for my wife as a replacement of previous failing phone. That OUKTEL G1 really runs for the full month in the STANDBY mode. Under normal, and in case of my wife, very extensive use (YouTube and so, several hours a day) it lasted for about 10 DAYS from the single charge! The charging can be done from the "standard" USB-C charger (longer charging) or within about 2 (may be 3) hours from the PROVIDED high power charger. Plenty of internal memory !! I installed micro SD additional memory 64GB, just in case, and now it seems to me pathetic to myself... The only what seems to me questionable is the height of its plastic case border around the screen glass. Therefore I've bought the addition "envelope style case (with cover over the screen) and metal chain to put it over the shoulder. I am happy, when my wife is happy having such good new phone !!
