I purchased the Winnie Books to read to my two year old Granddaughter, mainly because my children loved them when they were little. The stories have become firm favourites with the simple but engaging stories, and brightly coloured illustrations. We love to 'spot' things in the pictures and use them to count how many pairs of eyes/spiders/dragons etc there are so she is learning from every page. We also shout ABRACADABRA with Winnie each time she makes a spell (which is often) which almost makes for a bedtime pantomime, meaning the stories are chosen again and again.

I loved the original as a child so I bought the set for my son. He absolutely loves them and we read one or more most days. The illustrations are gorgeous and the stories entertaining.

I've only taken the books out of the box, as I'm keeping it for a xmas present, but they look good as far as I can see.

The Winnie and Wilbur books are truly delightful, but be okay with taking a gamble on which books you will receive if you order this set! Of the 10 books I received, only 3 were ones I was supposed to get: "Happy Birthday, Winnie", "The Haunted House", and "The Pirate Adventure". Lucky me because they did send it to me!Regardless, I'd suggest only ordering this if you're ready for a random surprise! I give 5 stars for the books themselves, but like 2 stars for the book selection since you don't get what's listed.

Amazing stories and a CD to play as well. Product was in perfect condition. Well worth the money.
