Got it to replace a 2 year old Shark navigator, which was disappointing and very loud. As a retired physicist I had both at home a sound meter and particle counter. Important that it be quiet and not dusty (allergies). Hey. Sound levels match spec of 68 decibels with floor brush running. 62 with it off (settings II and I). Helps filter output air pristine even while vacuuming a dusty carpet with brush on. So they actually deliver sound levels and filtering. (Some other brands some users believe they really don't). Solid built, easy to use. Great suction. Good beater. Easy to change bags. Pretty quiet. A lot of unit weight is in the long heavy duty cord, so in use it is not as bad as the total weight might suggest. Their bags filter better twice as good than a non name comparable bag. So to protect motor I would suggest proteam branded bags

A friend of mine who owns a cleaning company recommended I get this vacuumbecause it is so good... and she was not kidding, this vacuum is awesome it's suction power is excellent, it was easy to put together... it's a solid piece of equipment. it's a little heavier than I thought but I will get used to it. It was worth every penny. update 8/18 this vacuum started having problems after three months, started making loud grinding noises when vacuuming on carpet. Thought it might be the belt or the roller. Went to take the plate off to get to the roller and belt and discovered two of the screws are stripped. This sucks considering how much I paid for this vacuum. Can't return it because Amazon only has a return policy for 30 days.

This is an apparent improved version of the legendary Prolux machine as some parts will interchange and the basic design identical. The machine is surprisingly quiet. You can actually hold a normal conversation with it running. Suction is far better than our previous Prolux. The only thing we have to get accustomed to is the transition from tile floor to carpet is a little tricky. IT cleans far better than any other machine we've had. Works fabulous on tile as well as carpet. IT is a little heavier than I expected but not a lot. The 50ft cord is a good feature. Since our previous unit was a Prolux, we already know about how it can be top heavy but once you've used it, it's not an issue.The handle design is great on the hand and the flip switch makes it easy to switch from suction only to beater bar/brush for carpet. The unit is great at getting under things as it will almost lay flat on the floor. Getting under tables and desks is not a problem. If you are looking for an upright, one that will last a LONG time, easy to use, powerful, here's your machine! And considering the Amazon price, it's a bargain too.Strong recommendation! UPDATE! Well, it was too good to be true. There is a design defect and it's going to cost you money again and again. The bezel that holds the switch that you'll be rolling back and forth has only 2 screws that are on each side of the bezel. The bezel breaks at the screws. There's absolutely nothing to hold the vacuum hose other than air and there's nothing to hold the switch either-it rocks back and forth in the bezel and eventually breaks. ProTeam will warrant the part for 3 years but you have to take it to their authorized dealer for replacement. That's a 70 mile one way trip for us. No, they won't ship the part to you unless you want to buy it. The cost of the bezel and handle was over 30 bucks and whoever designed the electrical wiring that runs thru the handle and bezel is clueless. This should be redesigned by somebody that actually uses a vacuum and has a clue how to wire a switch. I don't recommend this machine as it's a fail waiting to happen.

I bought the Proteam Xp1500 a few months ago. We have a carpet cleaning business and vacuuming is one of the most important parts of our cleaning process because removing as much dry soil before applying cleaning solution is key to deliver best results for our customers. This vacuum is well built and a true commercial vacuum. It has Four HEPA filters a on board system that tells you when the vacuum has a obstruction where something is cutting down suction. So you know that it’s running at best performance. Also I didn’t think id like it being a bag type but the bag will completely fill up to the top before it loses suction and the tells you its time to change bag which is easy and not messy at all. The 50 foot power. Cord is the best. I would highly recommend this vacuum to any professional or home owner that wants good quality and durability.

We have our own cleaning business and were looking for a good vacuum for some office cleaning. Very powerful vacuum. It's not loud like other vacuums and we love the 50 foot cord. We can often clean an office without ever changing plugs. We also like that it has a three year warranty.
