First thing to say is that this product is very well packed in a sturdy box and has an instruction book that is clear and easy to understand. So easy to set up, just plug in the monitor, pair the wireless cameras with it. The camera that is mounted on the reg plate, sticks really securely. What I like best is the 2nd camera with its magnetic base is so versatile you can fit it anywhere. The picture quality is great, easy to switch from split screen for the two cameras or to single screen and all the functionality you need. In conclusion, a very well constructed, easy to set and use, versatile reversing camera setup. I would definitely recommend this product.

An excellent product. High quality build, easy and quick installation and you can barely tell it is there. The quality of the video feed is amazing, it does get a little fogged up in the rain, but I am going to get a little water repellent solution which I am sure will sort it out. The battery lasts a long time, I've only had it installed over this dark wet winter we've had so I can't say the solar charging has done anything, but I am sure it will be more effective over as the weather brightens up as we enter spring.

I needed a reverse camera for our Citroën C3 Aircross. The boot is quite high and it’s hard to judge the distance when getting close to other parked cars or walls. I have purchased other Auto-Vox cameras before and have always been happy with the quality and relative cheap price compared to their competitors. I have the an Auto-Vox solar reverse camera on our Motorhome that we purchased about a year ago and we are pleased with its performance, so when the new Solar 3C model came out we thought we would get one. I purchased from Amazon and it came the next day. It was an absolute breeze to set up. So easy. Plus, what I liked about the 3C is that it’s got a better screen (small and wide) than our previous model. When I tested (always a good idea before full instal) it was paired already. The only thing you have to do is charge the camera in preparation. I put it on charge and went for a short walk with the dog and it was ready to instal. I installed within 30 minutes. If I were to be hyper critical, the camera moves 70 degrees (up or down), but I would have preferred that to be a just little more, other than that it’s absolutely brilliant. The bracket ensures that it does not interfere with my number plate, so it is hardly noticeable. The picture is clean and crisp with 1080p clarity, there is no untidy wires anywhere, it is completely wireless and seamless. With the solar working, I’ll never have to charge it again (like my one on the motorhome).

Bought this 5 inch monitor and reversing camera as a replacement for one I bought a couple of years ago. Overall it's a great piece of kit, and AUTO-VOX give great customer service. The one I'm replacing lasted a year, then the camera stopped connecting to the monitor. Contacted AUTO-VOX and they were brilliant. Sent a new camera which worked for another year, then it also stopped working. Contacted AUTO-VOX again and Helga was very helpful, but since the camera was 2 years since purchase it was out of guarantee. Helga advised what the best replacement was, and told me that the camera and monitor were both upgrades on the model I previously had. She also arranged a discount off the full price. I received the new camera and monitor and fitted them about 4 weeks ago. The camera mount hasn't changed, so I didn't need to take the number plate off again - it was simply a case of sliding the old camera off and tightening the screw. The monitor is much neater and clearer than the old model (also now has facility for dual cameras, but I only need the one reversing camera). The camera also gives a wider angle. Overall, well worth the upgrade. The camera and monitor are a great alternative to a factory fitted unit (shame that car manufacturers still don't fit beepers and cameras as standard). In my car the monitor sits neatly behind the gear lever, and it's just a simple click of the button to switch it on when reversing. Because it's solar powered charging, the battery hardly ever needs charging. I've given 4 stars only because the old camera failed twice (each time after 12 months, at the beginning of winter). I'm hoping that auto-Vox have resolved the glitch that caused this, and look forward to using this for several years to come.

The camera is a real upgrade for my Land Rover Freelander. Installation was uncomplicated and very quick. Either installation on the license plate or with cable ties on the lower ventilation grille. I did the latter so that the camera doesn't look too bulky on the license plate holder. The picture is clear and stable - no jerks or delays. Resolution is super sharp even at dusk / night. The viewing angle is generous, blind spots are well covered. However, it is not a 180 fisheye view. The connection to the monitor is stable, no dropouts. A clear recommendation for the price. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

I recently bought the AUTO-VOX Solar Wireless Reversing Camera System with dual cameras, and I’m very impressed. The 7.2” 1080P HD monitor delivers clear, sharp images, even in low light, which makes reversing much safer and easier. The solar-powered design is very convenient, reducing the need for frequent charging. Installation was straightforward, and the wireless connection remained stable without lag. Both the license plate and portable cameras offer flexibility for different driving situations. Its IP69K waterproof rating also gives me confidence for all-weather use. Overall, it’s a reliable and user-friendly solution for motorhomes, campers, trailers, and vans.

Was a little sceptical when buying this as wanted a camera system to have a permanent rear view on our motorhome. Screen inside was a little tricky to locate using mount provided so purchased a separate glass suction mount and this works fine connected to the power supply and switches on and off with the engine. Mounting the cameras needs and bit of trial and error but mounted the rear just below the number plate and the front at bonnet height. Fitted a sad card so constant recording as a web cam so gives piece of mind. Camera option are rear only, front only or joint cameras. We tend to run the rear camera on all the time. Driven well over 10 hours with the camera on all the time and still has power. Connection between camera and inner screen is seamless and considering the camera is 7 meters away it has great connection and vision and picture quality in day and normal light fine. On unlit roads and little less on quality but for me a great camera system for the money and really good quality.

The camera works well once installed. Clear picture, instant connection, no wiring needed. But the mounting design feels geared toward US plates, which makes UK installation awkward. Top-mounting (as recommended) isn’t suitable on UK plates because it can cover part of the characters. Lifting it slightly avoids that, but can block the plate lighting. The camera also can’t tilt down far enough, so you often get too much sky, not enough ground. Bottom-mounting is allowed, but the solar panel is angled for a top position. When flipped, it faces slightly downward and gets less light. You also can’t adjust the solar panel angle. The bracket has very limited adjustment, and the display guide lines can only be turned on or off, not calibrated. The mounting holes don’t match UK plate fittings, so the sticky pads are the easiest option. I ended up mounting it inside the tailgate, which gives a better angle. Even with indirect daylight, the solar panel still seems to hold charge. Pros: clear image, quick connection, simple install Cons: not UK-plate friendly (risk of obscuring light / letters, maybe need to mount in alternative place), limited adjustments for camera angle (solar panel not adjustable at all), guidelines not adjustable
