A brand new Supernatural novel inspired by the record-breaking show starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Sam and Dean Winchester have spent their lives on the road, battling every kind of supernatural threat. Over the years, after dozens of bloody adventures, they have faced everything from the yellow-eyed demon that killed their mother to vampires, ghosts, shapeshifters, angels and fallen gods. With the help of allies--both human and supernatural--they've discovered that every threat they vanquish opens a new door for evil to enter in. At the stroke of midnight, everyone awake in a small Missouri town suddenly falls unconscious in the middle of whatever they were doing. When Sam and Dean investigate, the town seems peaceful. But they soon uncover a wave of strange behavior - streaking, petty vandalism and random violence - and nobody can remember why they did it. With reports of strange shadows and horrible murders, the Winchesters dig deep into the town's secrets and uncover a tragedy fifty years in the making.... A brand-new Supernatural novel, set during season 12, that reveals a previously unseen adventure for the Winchester brothers, from the hit TV series! Review: A Good Read - Let's face it: You aren't buying this unless you're already a fan. This book delivers convincing portrayals of Sam and Dean, as well as a solid story that engages you all the way to the end. Review: Much better than The Usual Suspects - So much better than The Usual Suspects. That book was not good to say the least. As much as people like to read about Sam and Dean I would not recommend it. This book is really good and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Highly recommend.

Loved It
This is a great book, especially if you love the old Supernatural where it was just Sam and Dean. Reading it was just like watching an episode of the show. Loved the story as well.

Enjoyable, but with the author's usual minor failing
I generally buy Supernatural tie-ins that this author writes, and never regret the purchase. He's a polished, professional writer, and tends to stick close to canon when writing the lead characters. The consistent issue I have with him for this kind of book is that he spends a lot of time with characters whose sole purpose is to add one to the body count. They're rarely appealing characters to begin with and the intimate detail with which he describes them and plays out their every moment makes the story drag to a halt as if it's crawling through mud. The technique is okay in standard horror, but TV tie in audiences generally want to be riding shotgun with the leads, and also tend to like a faster paced story that feels more like an episode of their favorite show. I resolve the issue by skipping past the unnecessary slogging around with the soon-to-be corpses and just reading the portions that are relative to the plot. Give this a try though. The storyline is well suited to the series, and the author knows what he's doing.

Loved every moment reading another adventure of my boys. Just like watching another episode. Captured the characters well and the story was fast paced.

Worth the read
Loved the storyline. The idea that sometimes spirits want to feel a human emotion one last time

Ein Muß für "Supernatural" Fans
Es ist schön die Geschichten zwischen den Folgen der Serie zu erleben. Während man liest fühlt man sich als wäre man wieder zurück ins "Family Business".

Spiritual Joyride
Set near the end of season 12! The moment I read the summary at the back, I was instantly hooked! I loved this book! The whole story plot intrigued me. I would recommend this book to others, especially if you wanna read the boys dealing with shadow spirits! That ending though🤧 Fun fact! I don’t know why, but while reading this book, my mind was reminded of Persona 3, with the whole blacking out at midnight. Totally different, but reminded me slightly of P3
