Miniature connectors
I haven't used them yet, but they look like they will work fine. Happy to see such a variety, at such a low price.

Good price per value, but beware bent/broken pins
When I opened the package, the first thing I noticed is that several of my 40 pin sockets had bent pins. A few others had bent pins, but only barely, so I should be able to bent them back. But you can see from photo 3 that my pin broke off when I was trying to bend it back. So be aware of that.

Decent sockets
The first box of sockets I received had 6 of 12 of the 40 pin sockets defective. I sent it back, and the next box was perfect. I have used the sockets for some projects, and they all worked well. They soldered without problems, and chips insert without difficulty. Since the second box was perfect, I gave them 5 stars.

hard pass
almost every single 40 pin dip socket was bent and when trying to bend them back they snap off easily making them useless.most of the other ones are ok but i will only use these if i have no other choice. ill spend the money through digikey as i dont really trust these.

Cheap and terrible
Tons of bent pins on arrival, some pins missing altogether. Straightening the pins causes them to break clean off after just barely touching them. Made out of the cheapest materials imaginable. Don't waste your money.

They suit my needs...
First, do not expect machined socket quality. These are the old style ic sockets like you used to get at Radio Shack, and they are fine for most applications. I have had no problems with pins falling out??? Nor have I had any issues soldering them in place. For crying out loud people... Learn to properly solder. Get in and get out. Don't linger! Anyway, be prepared to straighten out a pin here and there (just like the good old days), and solder them up. If you are looking for something to poke in a breadboard, look elsewhere. These are meant to be soldered in place. I will be buying more as the need arises, it's a good price for a good assortment of sizes. Product arrived in a timely fashion and was well packaged. Highly recommended.

Cheap sockets.
The plastic divider box provided with the kit is nice. The sockets are cheap and low quality. Some of the pins are bent and difficult to fix. No sockets for EPROMs.You get what you pay for.
