For the first month, she would let me manually inject her, but after a month, I could not get her to stay still; it was a huge fight. This auto-injector is fast, painless, and very easy to use; just pinch the skin and press the button. You do need to have a bit longer needle. I used a 12.7mm length. For pets, I highly recommend, just get it! Review: This is such a great device and helped me get past my fear of needles - This is a game changer for anyone who afraid of needles. Highly recommend this item if you need to inject yourself with medication. This biggest challenge for this device is you have to find the right calibration for your syringe. If that changes, you need to adjust it so it doesn't wind up hurting you.

Miracle Device
I cannot stand needles, injections, blood, or generally anything medical. This device is an absolute god send that works so well and makes me not have to fear injections. It works exactly as described and makes injections smooth and painless. Some tips that it took me a while to figure out: 1. The instructions list "compatible syringes" along with recommended dialing for those syringes. This device is compatible with any fix-tipped syringe and can be dialed in using the yellow plastic tool. Insert a syringe and launch it, then use the yellow tool to measure how far out of the end it sticks. 2. If you're buying this, you probably also have a fear of needles. I went for a 31 gauge needle but was worried about how long the injection would take with this small of a gauge. <10 seconds overall, and I truly barely felt it (and I'm a MASSIVE baby when it comes to all of this. Cannot recommend this product enough.

Doesn't work correctly. It slams the syringe way too hard
Was excited about buying this item because of the good reviews. Bought it to take a weekly injection into my leg. Even bought another set of luer lock needles that fit this device perfectly after figuring out the adjustment setting. The problem with this tool is the spring in this device seems to be way too strong. When you press the button to inject the medicine, this tool slams the plunger of the syringe down so hard that when you hear that click, the yellow symbol is shown in the window immediately. So immediately, that syringe was slammed all the way down using great force, instead of taking about 5-10 seconds or so to push it down like how you are supposed to do it. Due to that problem, this tool makes the syringe shoot the medicine all over the place at maximum force. I suppose a minimal amount of medicine gets injected, but most of it will be wasted because it will be all over your leg and all over the inside of the Autoject tool. The instructions provide an email address for the manufacturer, so I emailed the manufacturer to explain what is going on and ask if they can help me resolve the problem. Several days have gone by and they never bothered to reply. Guess I will be returning this for a refund then, since it doesn't work properly and there is no customer support.

Easier than using the syringe by itself.
I must give my wife a weekly injection and I’m not very good at it. This device has made it much easier on both of us. It is easy to load and relatively easy to use. It does require specific syringes with tiny needles. The device has a safety that must be depressed to initiate the injection. The one star reduction is because I have found the “trigger” to be a bit awkward to engage and there is only one small window to indicate if the injection is working. The first time, I ended up squirting medication all over the kitchen because I didn’t realize it was working. Some of the awkwardness may just be me… Overall I think this is a good device and it does make giving the injection easier.

Good, but opened
Product is good, but the packaging was open when I received it. I looked it over and despite being open, it didn’t have any signs of use. The product works well as intended.

Incredible helpful for injection fears
What a game-changer! I was shaking each week when self-administering my glp-1 shot in my stomach despite countless different ways I tried to minimize that fear without success. I also wanted to try switching spots and wasn’t comfortable injecting into my own arm. I wasn’t positive this would feel any less scary to me, but the thought of pushing a button vs pushing a plunger slowly myself seemed a LOT easier. You can very easily set the needle depth (I tested a few times with an empty syringe and they give a measurement guide) which is another function that makes me worry a lot less — I don’t ever have to worry I’m going to deep. I was just as scared to do it the first time as any other shot I’ve given myself in my glp-1 process. But after I pressed the button I let it sit a couple seconds and checked the indicator window in the mirror, pulled away the pen and then had to check the needle inside to make sure I wasn’t dreaming! All of the medication was plunged in a second and I literally didn’t feel it. I didn’t think prior to this that seeing the needle was my fear, but using this seems to have made a huge difference for me! I will say that I got an immediate angry red mark with circle bruise around it the size of the mouth of the autoject right after the shot — I only ever had a small red mark before with shots. It is a pretty quick plunging action, but it seems I was also just unlucky this time and may have nicked a capillary. Overall, I’d take a bruise every week if I have to for the mental anguish this saves me!
