Lilly Miller Moss Out, Moss Killer for Roofs, 6 LB

Killed the moss on my roof without causing any problems. Will use it occasionally to keep the moss away.

This is the only product we have found to be effective on our roof moss. Zinc strips act as preventive, but this killed the existing moss. Living underneath oak trees here, moss is inevitable.

I had moss on my roof. I tried wet and forget it worked OK but took several months before you saw any progress. And still a decent amount of moss remained on my roof Lily Miller worked in a couple of weeks. The moss on my roof went from green to brown In about one week and was almost totally gone within the month I mixed the granules with some water and used It as a spray if I just used the granules only they would’ve rolled off the roof or not stayed in the spots that I needed. The water application was much more accurate. One thing is, I wish the packaging on the container was marked in pound measurements. It would have made it so much easier to mix with the water instead, I eyeballed it That is why I left out one star in this review Even though I thought I mixed it well some of the granules did not totally dissolve. I think it may have needed a little more time and agitation than I gave it. Overall, this product is faster and stronger than wet and forget I still have more than half of the container leftover in case the moss starts to come back, but in one application, Lily millers pretty much did the trick

Used in 1600 sq ft roof, killed the moss after a week or two with rain, handle on container makes for easy spreading. Followed it with zinc roll on both sides of pitched roof. Watch your step up there.

Works immediately

I've used this for years to kill moss on my roof and to keep moss off my roof. When I received this container I noticed the top was not secured past the locking tab, as if it'd been opened. I weighed it and it came up at least 5 ounces short of the 6lbs of product it is supposed to contain with the container. I say at least because my scale actually reads a small percentage to the heavy side and the container weight so the difference is actually greater than is represented in the picture. I've weighed these before and they've been at least 6 lbs, not this time. Being shorted of what I've purchased doesn't make me happy. That shortage makes me want to one star this but my experience with the product tells me that's not fair. It should be a 5 star product if I'm getting what I am paying for. Either Amazon or Lilly Miller need to look into this. Yes, a few ounces is not a lot but the point is I'm being cheated of product I'm paying for.

This product is an excellent cost effective way to control roofing or other structural moss on those surface areas. Easy to use where you can just sprinkle it on at the apex of your roof tops and then just let nature go to work. Really a cost effective value and a wonderful solution for mold issues. Estimates of results takes a few weeks and can have a lasting long term durability depending on environmental factors. Found these offered here at a better price than at the local big box hardware store, great value for that DIY maintenance fix!

AIt did good job. I used three on my rambler. Roof looks great.
