Very convenient!
After years of threatening to make my own shelf for working on my scaffolding, I finally decided to do an Amazon search first to see if anything was available. I decided this unit would best suit my needs, and I'm so happy that I bought it. It's roomy, sturdy, and versatile. I'm extremely happy with it!

Works great
Fits on my scaffold perfectly. You can use it hanging away from the scaffold as a tool tray or hang it inside to use as a work shelf. Sturdy, and big enough to hold everything you are using. I bought one for each end.

No good if you are using the scaffold at full height
It’s a well put together unit and it does work but I was disappointed to find out that this doesn’t hang on the guard rail accessory. Since I’m using my scaffold at full extension, with the guard rail, the highest I can add this platform is at the height of my feet which does me no good. It will be fine if the foot platform you stand on is lower than the top theee positions of the scaffold frame

I love Metaltech products!
I bought the Metaltech Baker Style light indoor scaffolding after buying their much larger system and planks for outdoor DIY use. Metaltech is the best. Great engineering and fabrication. The tool tray I bought and am writing about is a wonderful accessory. Now i have all my tools in one spot, out of the way and have the whole platform to move around on safely. I did buy the WEN osha approved safety cage for the Metaltech scaffolding for safety and that fits/works very well I might add. The tool tray does fit on the top rung of the scaffolding still but was not designed to have the safety cage on the inside but it still fits and supports the weight of my drills and other tools while I am working. It is a definite must have. Love the tray and it is a plus!

Expensive for what it is, but works very well.
No complaints on the product quality or serving the purpose, it does that well and fits securely.However, this is a product made by injection molding with a few dollars of plastic.
