Fun and amazing drone!
First time drone purchaser. This drone has been AWESOME. My son loves it. It responds well to controls, and flies fast and high. The video is good quality. It has an auto-return feature that works great and kicks in automatically when battery is low. There's a beginner mode to limit how far and high it can go; a cine mode designed for smooth video; and sport mode for flying fastest. The functionality has been incredible. The battery lasts 'a long time' according to my son and doesn't take too long to charge. We are having an issue with the second battery, and so far customer service has been very responsive and says they'll replace it. Although we don't have another drone to compare this one against, it has been a super fun, and an eye-opening experience in terms of what these little drones can do. We love it.

Awesome Drones, AMAZING customer service!
The customer service team had exceptional customer service. I originally gave this drone a 2 star review because the camera did not come with a stabilizer. I need the stabilizer to be able to capture the footage I need for my edited videos. They quickly gave me different recommendations for drones that do have that feature and allowed me to exchange for the one I needed. This drone is perfect for a beginner flyer that doesn’t care too much about the video quality. It’ll get your footage and pictures you want but, they do come out a little shakey. Some people wouldn’t even care about it. The app itself was very easy to use. There was some minor bugs and freezing but nothing that would stop me from continuing to use it. When you select the auto return home button, the drone comes back fantastic and lands soft but, it crashes and freezes the app and requires a restart of controller, app and phone. It didn’t bother me much because I would restart all and fly again. But this only happened when using return home so I ended up bringing drone back manually and landing manually and that fixes it. Also this drone is actually extremely stabile in the wind. I had it out in pretty windy conditions and it did really well. The video quality lacked because of the wind and no stabilization but overall good drones. For the price you really can’t beat it and with their customer service I would buy these again just because of that alone. Thank you Ruko

Great drone at a great price. Easy to fly.
I purchased this drone because I wanted to have longer flight time and upgrade from the older drone that I have that would not get more than 10 minutes and was a challenge to fly! The wind would blow it all over the place and by the time you got things under control the ride was over! I am so glad I chose the Ruko F11GIM2! It is pretty straightforward and even though I am a novice right now. It took me know time to get it up and flying. The GPS works great and it would hover in place really well there were some really strong gusts of wind and at times you could hear it fighting the wind to hold its position and could see it shaking pretty hard! But the video was steady and clear! Infact if you were only watching the video and not looking at the drone when the wind was beating on it you would have not known it was happening. I did a lot of online research and this drone had really good reviews and for the price I feel that you could not go wrong buying this. I also purchased HeiyRC Propeller guards and HeiyRC Landing gear. They fit perfectly I purchased these to help with any collisions I might have while learning to fly. I will probably not use the propeller guards later unless I am in an area that would be of risk. The landing gear is really nice and keeps the Drone off the ground! Just keep in mind that you will have to remove propeller guards and landing gear when putting Drone away. They are easily installed and removed. Will update this review and add videos at a later date once I get used to flying and get some hours on this. Hope this review helps.

A Good Introductory Drone
Warning: This is a deep dive review! If you're buying your first drone, this is it! The setup was a little complicated, as you have to configure it, rotate it around manually, and do some button combo to get it to come on. It reminds me of the Konami code on Contra for the NES, only it's 2 buttons. Once it's up and running, it's good to go. There's around 4 or 5 apps on the Google Play store for it. I just scanned the QR code in the quick start guide and it took me to Google Play then right to the app. Be sure you are outside when setting up! It will not work inside. I was trying to get the drone to pair with the control deck in my kitchen and it just wouldn't. I thought it wasal a dud lemon until I took it outside. Worked fine then. It has to ping the satellite or something during setup and I guess walls block that from happening. As for the battery, it seems OK and will allow you to fly for the time mentioned. There is a tab on the battery that I thought was a cover for the USB-C charging port. It wasn't. It was a tab to cover the battery insides. Do NOT bend it back as it will warp and look like it's about to break off. The LED lights will blink for all eternity while charging. You might wonder why it's not charging. Well it is. Just unplug the charger, wait 10 seconds then plug back in. The next light will now be solid. Not sure if this is standard or a flaw. It might also be the charger I'm using as it doesn't come with one. The control deck/controller feels solid. Buttons are real clicky and no drift from the joysticks. The unit itself is small, fits in one hand, and feels like cheap plastic, however it's real durable! I crashed it into the side of my brick house at a low speed on the first take off, then crashed it into the ground, and I think I crashed it into my roof, but couldn't see. Every time it was back up and running within a few minutes. Granted it now has scuff marks on blades it from the crashes. NOTE: after crashing it (accidentally) so many times, it finally malfunctioned beyond repair. Doh! It goes pretty high up and handles wind OK. I haven't messed with many features, but it will hover in place no matter how high it is. Be aware that you will have to remove your phone case or use a thin one for it to fit on the control deck. The USB-C cable from the control deck, wouldn't fit unless I removed my case. The camera is OK at best. It only moves up and down with no zoom option. It has a cover, so if you're gonna use the camera remove it before flight for slightly better pictures, but you can leave it on too with no issue. I haven't put an SD card in it yet, so I can't tell you how good the picture and video recording quality is. It has 2 blue lights on the front, I'm guessing for night flying? They come on and stay on while flying until you turn the drone off even in the daylight. The box has some Engrish on it as does the manual 2.0 and the quick start guide 1.0, yes the instructions have version numbers for some reason. It comes with a very nice carrying case too. It seems to be good for the price tag, but could be cheaper. Overall, it's a good drone for beginners. I recommend getting the $26.99 - 2 year protection plan for it, just in case you accidentally go all Launchpad McQuack with it like I did. I gave it 4 stars because the setup takes more time than it should and the unreliable battery charging lights.
