Pretty Darn Good
I was skeptical that this was worth paying the price. But this is a great little light. It's bright, relatively small and feels like it will last a long time. I like that there is no on/off switch that usually fails on these penlights. You can either hold the power button on with thumb pressure or turn on the light by twisting the barrel. I know the use of AAAA batteries makes for a thin, compact light, but these batteries are not yet sold everywhere. I'm waiting for a AAA version to come out; I'll buy it for sure.

Able to keep it with me
While a bit long for my shirt pocket, the clip does move. I frequently have to get under desks to find and move cables. Having this light in my pocket is a big help and is easy to use. Push the button for a quick glimpse, and twist the front to turn on and leave on.Good unit.

Great medical light
I got the 11 lumen white light version. Good light, very bright. Pretty hard to push the button and hold steady with one hand if your hands are slippery from hand sanitizer from entering a patient's room, so it would be better if it clicked on/off. You can turn it to the on position by twisting the back of the light, it's just slightly more awkward than a button that clicks and you need two hands. It's not too bright to shine in a patient's eyes (it will not cause retinal damage as some on here say), but it's not comfortable so it's better for ICU than clinic. I do like it that way because you can still use it on eyes but it's also great for looking in the mouth or other places you need more light and in the clinic you can just use the ophthalmoscope anyway. The size is perfect, fits just great in breast pocket. Quality construction, very good clip. I like that you have the option to take off the focusing tip or have it as a bare light.

I made mine less bright and less blue
I'm not fond of the bluish cast of the LED in this penlight. And even though it's only 10 lumens, I thought it was still a little too bright for my purposes -- too much glare for a good inspection light or closeup work. There's a little ridge inside the removable focus cap. I cut a piece of clear yellow acetate to fit in the cap and sit on that ridge. The LED on the end of the Streamlight pushes against the yellow acetate and holds it in place.Since there's not much in the yellow spectrum in the LED, with that yellow acetate in place, the light is less bright and the blue is gone. That little fully-reversible modification makes it a much better light in my opinion.

great tool
read the review on this from a fellow worker and the product does not disappoint. it is light, tap-to-use easy, and battery life is way better than a popular product. if used properly, it works well with patients. use it as a flashlight too.

Very bright pen light
You can press and hold the light on by pushing down the top button, or if you rotate the black top clockwise and it will stay on by itself. I like this because it won't accidentally turn on and kill the battery in a bag or pocket. The red color is cool. The light is very bright. Will leave a bit of an after burn if you look directly at it for a while (or if you use it on a patient in a clinical setting). There's a "glare guard protector" included. Not sure what it really does.

The Classic Pen Light. Probably the best!
Have had one of these for over 15 years. My go to pocket torch. To check brake pad wear though wheels or look at items quickly. They have never been the most reliable tending to give up after a few years and the battery’s are a fad. But I haven’t found anything better in day to day operation. Literally the size of a pen and mega bright. However this model seem to be better constructed with a much better switch cap design so hopefully the old reliability issue are now a thing of the past.Top tip get rechargeable AAAA battery’s available from amazon and makes the torch Almost free to use after the first 2 cycles.

A light and easily carried AAAAbatteryp
A great torch. Using Ni MH! The alkaline batteries do leak! Push on/off or screw fully the back for continous light. The plastic cover for the bulb great.

Super compact and bright LED penlight
Very handy flashlight to carry around in a pocket. Bright light from a small flashlight. Although AAAA batteries are hard to find, this flashlight uses batteries at a very slow rate. Order extra batteries with light and you'll be good for a couple of years.
