TV Box S 3rd Gen - 4K UHD, Google TV, 32GB Memory, Dolby Vision & Atmos, WiFi 6, HDMI 2.1, Fast Streaming, Compact and Powerful

I bought the Xiaomi TV Box S (3rd Gen) as a workaround for ongoing media playback issues on a modern Samsung Smart TV. The TV panel itself is excellent, but its built-in software (DLNA/USB media handling in particular) proved unreliable and inconsistent. The Xiaomi box has been rock solid from day one. Setup took minutes. It outputs a clean 4K signal, handles 1080p content beautifully (the upscaling is noticeably better than the TV’s own processing), and plays everything I throw at it without drama. Local media playback via apps like VLC/Kodi works exactly as it should, and streaming apps are fast and responsive. What really stands out is consistency. No disappearing files, no random “content cannot be displayed” messages, no reboots or resets required. It just works. Bluetooth audio (headphones) is stable, picture quality is excellent, and the interface is far more polished and predictable than many TV operating systems. In practice, this has turned my TV into a dumb display — which is exactly how I want it. If you’re frustrated with flaky “smart” TV software, this is a simple, inexpensive fix that genuinely improves the experience. Highly recommended.

Big change from the fire stick nobody snooping and trying to delete programs. As fast as the fire stick and has Google TV and Gemini AI . Just buy one you will love it, easily installed and no hassle

Works great, has a wide support for applications. No noticible lag on video playback. Came with a HDMI Cable however it did come with a European plug instead of a British plug - not a massive deal, solved that with a £5 adapter. Other than that, great little streaming puck.

Well built, easy to setup, fast performance and it came with a UK plug. Remote control looks similar to a fire stick remote (for anyone moving to another streaming device)

This item is faulty it constantly gets notifications that Internet connection is lost like every minute or two. I bought an long Ethernet cable and an USB to Ethernet adapter which I should not have to have, but it still gets this issue every single I use the box until it works out there is an Ethernet cable in it extremely poor. The customer service didn't bother to read my issue, sent a response about the did deliver the item go ask neighbors if they've got it. This puts me off shopping from places like this. The box is actually quite good too when working. Id give it 9/10 when working. Also this box has a huge number with this flaw just Google and you'll see no way this should be happening on a device let alone gen 3 of a device Thank you.

I’m really happy with the Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen. The 4K picture quality is sharp and vibrant, and apps load quickly with no lag. Setup was very simple, and the remote is straightforward and responsive. It handles Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video and other apps smoothly, and the sound quality with Dolby support is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s a compact, reliable and affordable streaming box that works exactly as expected. Great value for the price!

Looks good, nice and fast, then it updates itself (firmware update) and now it switches of completely every hour or there abouts. Very unstable since the update, didn't happen before. I rang Xiaomi support UK because I purchased the device from Amazon UK, however "Amazon is selling the Chinese version which is NOT SUPPORTED BY THE UK". ;it's not even released yet. They told me to ring Hong Kong for support (can you see where this is going) ... So frustrating 😡 Amazon, your becoming more like Temu and the likes everyday with your products. Yes they'll refund me but it's the inconvenience, so moral of the story, do not buy from Amazon buy directly from Xiaomi UK...

This is a great android box. I am very happy with this purchase absolutely brilliant. I would recommend this to anyone who wsnts a truoble free box of good quality.

Works great easy to set up. It’s easy to sideload apps if that’s what you’re into and runs the apps like hbo max and prime video flawlessly I’m very happy with this and the price was right! Now that being said the remote works well feels good but dang is it clicky.

Ich habe die Xiaomi TV Box S 3rd Gen im Einsatz und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Einrichtung geht schnell und unkompliziert über Google TV. Danach läuft das System flüssig und übersichtlich, Apps starten zügig und das Navigieren durch Menüs funktioniert ohne Verzögerung. Die Bildqualität in 4K UHD ist sehr gut, besonders in Kombination mit Dolby Vision. Auch der Ton mit Dolby Atmos wirkt klar und raumfüllend, sofern das angeschlossene Setup das unterstützt. Durch WiFi 6 ist das Streaming stabil, selbst bei höheren Auflösungen und längeren Streams. Auch größere Apps laufen ohne Probleme. Die kompakte Bauweise ist praktisch, da die Box kaum Platz braucht und sich gut hinter dem Fernseher verstecken lässt. Fazit: Sehr leistungsstarke und schnelle Streaming-Box mit guter Bild- und Tonqualität – klare Empfehlung für Smart-TV-Upgrade.

Parasını hak eden bir ürün. 3 yıl once mi stic olani almıştim ondanda cok memnundum. Bu 4k oldugu icin aldim tavsiye ederim. Ancak piyasada sahtesi cok. O yuzden orijinal mi kaygısı yasamamak adina Tercihim bu tip cihazlarda her zaman amazon tarafindan bizzat satilan ürünlerdir. Kurulumu kolay. Ancak neden play store yok onu anlamadim.

Excellent box. High quality videos. No buffering. Remote is a little difficult to use in the dark. Voice input button is a great bonus. No hdmi socket. Have to use wi fi. I have been using the cheaper boxes in the past. This one is well worth the extra cost, the difference is really noticable. Only disappointment is the lack of UK mains plug.
