Works well for the lab classes. The students can perform Gram stains and the iodine does it's job.

I haven’t used the iodine yet, but the box was wet when I got it. I opened it and luckily it was tightly wrapped in plastic which prevented most of the liquid from leaking out. I had to grab a giant funnel and a new bottle and I unwrapped the iodine and immediately put the bottle in the funnel. It poured out the bottom faster than it would have the top if I had tried to pour it. Since iodine is brown, it did make quite the mess. Thank goodness I was in a lab instead of at home.
