Great for dialysis
I go to dialysis anywhere from 3 to 6 times a week. When they remove the dialysis needles it take over 20 mins to stop the bleeding after sitting there for over 3 hours getting the treatment. After that much time I want to get out of there asap. I bought this just to see if it worked and would cut the waiting time down to stop the bleeding. I bought the gauze so I could cut the size I needed and seemed that it would be less hard to use than the powered. Well after the 1st time I used this product I wish all of the dialysis center would already have this product as it worked great as it cut my time down from over 20 mins down to under 4 mins. I also did not have to keep the dressing on for 6 hours and was able to remove it after just 1 hour. If I do get a little bleeding I just use the same patch that I cut at the start and use a portion that was not covered with blood to stop what little bleeding there was in about 1 min. I will keep buying this product as it will always be worth having to stop any types of bleeding.

Recommended by EMT
Bought to add to my first aid kit and blow out kit. This product was recommended by a combat medic and current EMT for gunshot trauma. By combining with gloves and SWAT-Tourniquet, makes a good 30 second or blow out first aid kit. Blow Out Kit is for controlling artery cuts that must be treated in 30 to 60 seconds. I vacuum packed items in a cooking bag to make a compact easy to pocket carry package.Gauss roll format allows use as a compression bandage or to be pushed into penetrating (gunshot) wounds. Great for those that carry concealed weapons to treat self, family, or other injured. I carry some in my cargo pants pocket, range bag, car first aid bag, and bug out bag.I have used training product in trauma first aid class but hope to never break the seal on any of the rolls I purchased.

Great Clotting Product
This is a great product, but please be warned, it has a printed shelf life on each package. The product works as advertised without any heat inflammation to the patient. We have used this product for TEMS operators and with EMS units. The problem is vendors have these in storage waiting for customers to purchase them. Check the code date on each package you receive. The clock starts at time of manufacture. They may be expired or close to expiration when you receive them. Send them back. We do not use them immediately and carry them for years. The product does perform several months past the code date, but we are not willing to go any further. These are great for EMS, LE, military and bug-out-bags. The expiration date is important for your money. Good luck.

Should be in every home with someone who takes blood thinners.
Purchased these for my father after his heart attack and he was placed on blood thinners. He scrapes or bumps anything and he bleeds. I cut pieces off the long section and apply to stop the bleeding.

I just recently ordered my 2nd pack of Celox gauze ...
I just recently ordered my 2nd pack of Celox gauze roll to have as backup. I have been using my 1st pack over the last 2 years for nose bleeds, which can be quite severe sometimes. I cut this gauze into 1/2 inch strips, then roll it up to use as a nose plug. This is much cheaper than buying the pre-made nose plugs, especially since I am prone to having nose bleeds. Its also reassuring to know I can use it for large cuts if the need arises. I think this form of Celox is the most versatile for the average person (medical professionals probably would prefer to have specific-use Celox's).

have it, but have not used it
I have this along with scisors and regular gauze rolls in a kit and plan to cut this into patches to cover wounds and wrap them in gauze. I have not had to use this yet but I have it in my kit in case I do. I see it as money well spent because I have seen people hurt in the past and could not help. I would have gladly spent the money then to have had this when I needed it. I hope that I will be prepared the next time.

Peace of mind
After receiving first aid training "Stop the Bleed" and seeing these products, I wanted to get them for my own family. This gauze seems like a decent size, and I carry it around in my purse. It is one of those things that I am glad to have, but I hope to never need it.
