The plug you need in Brazil
Nifty little adapter that does the job when visiting Brazil. Solidly-built. Gives power to plug or USB. NOTE: This is NOT a converter; make sure that the electronics you bring can handle Brazilian electricity, because different regions and cities use different voltages. (127 V or 220V) . Most laptops have dual voltage (100-220V) and work anywhere. It is also NOT a surge protector, FYI.

Works great and the USB-C ports work well with Apple mobile devices (even the finicky ones). Stays in the port well and was a crucial part of traveling since all of my electronics used the US style port. A little clunky, but hey, its charge port that charges everything at once so its not a real issue.

Brazil is 220/240 VAC
Most phone chargers and things you will be plugging in when you get to Brazil will be fine using this adapter because most of them are rated for higher voltage than the American plug style (110/120 VAC). This device looses one star because I think it needs a label to remind people that not every American plug device will work. In fact, devices that are rated for 120 VAC will probably fry themselves. This is the same for all of the devices in this price range, not just this one. I added a 220V label to remind myself. The picture shows that there are 3 wires straight to the American sockets, so 220/240 there. Make sure anything you plan to use is rated for higher voltage! I haven't tried the USB yet, but will return here if it doesn't work well.

Very handy though a bit bulky
This adapter came in handy during my trip to Brazil. It’s updated in that it takes USB as well as prong ended devices. A bit bulky but worth it!
