Disposable Dog Potty - Real Grass - Medium 24x16

I have a nine week old puppy and he is very small so I got him a larger size considering how small my puppy is . He is less than 4 pounds. This arrived very brown and green. I wasn’t sure given the state how long it would last but did not judge it before trying it. All the green grass that’s shown on the website does not match what I got. I followed the care to a T and noticed that within two days it had a lot of spots that the grass had wilted from the puppy pee, and by the end of the first week most of the grass is compacted and very bright and muddied. It’s right next to a window so it does get light and I would try to keep it covered overnight. It was not cut to the size of the box so my puppy would dig at the sides on occasion. I do love the booklet and the video it came with and really appreciate the care given. It did reaffirm the things we were already doing and appreciate the validation and how to care for the grass as well. It is looking like we will need to replace the grass again and it’s only been a week so we are not looking to spend $100+ a month. Our puppy did take to it almost immediately so that was wonderful and I appreciate it for that.

Impressed with the product and execution- it’s just too expensive; IMO. We are able to go to a sod store and purchase the same size for $2.50

We ordered this for our 3 Cats. We saw KittieLawn advertised with different sizes available. However, every time I went to order, it only showed the small size. As it was all the same company I ordered the larger 24X16 inch size. The grass arrived boxed just as you see in the photo. Grass was so beautiful it almost looked fake. However, our cats that try to escape the house to get outside to eat and roll around in the grass, wouldn't touch it. All 3 sniffed it and walked away. After a week our male cat finally laid on the grass once or twice but that was it. No one tried to eat any grass or roll around in it. Out cats take every opportunity to eat our flowers and plants, live and plastic, but would eat any grass. We even tried putting it outside and taking them out on their leashes, they still would not touch it. Not sure if DoggieLawn is different than KittieLawn, but it was not a hit with our cats.

My dog uses it freely. There is no odor. The size options are great. The training manual was great. No more guilt about running late for walks.

This was a great way to train our dog to pee on the boat, a necessary task if we are unable to get him to shore for any reason. We are still working on #2 but, he agreed to do #1 in 2 days. The little bottle of pheromone was nice to have but, at 1st he just sniffed at the grass, put one foot on it and left. The best time to have him use it was 1st thing in the morning when he had a full bladder. He held it for 20 hours once but, eventually got in the habit of using it 1st thing in the morning. We took it out of the box after a few days as we located it on the bow next to a drainage port and gave the grass a fresh water watering after use. As it was exposed to heat on the foredeck, the grass was starting to brown by the 5th day but, I'm sure it would have lasted another 5 days if needed. It is a little messy but, there is not much dirt on the roots and we easily washed loose grass and roots overboard with the urine. It's a bit small for our 43 # dog and the 1st time he used, lifting his leg as usual, he missed most of the grass, hitting the wall of the deck. Easy to wash this out of the boat but, he sniffed it and the next time he used it, he stood on the grass, and squatted like a girl dog. I was hoping to find something with a rubber mat under it to prevent the grass from sliding across the deck in rolling seas but, didn't need it on this trip. The grass stayed put. I wouldn't re-order this product for the boat but, will switch to artificial turf. It served its purpose in his training perfectly. I must add, that it arrived early on the 1st day it was expected. Exquisite timing as we left for the boat an hour later! Thanks for a great product!
