It doesn’t smell chemical. It smells minty or peppermint like. I can report that the rodent/Rat/mouse is no longer in existence as far as we can tell. Cleared out any spots sprayed that behind cupboards floorboards on the sofa everywhere two cats sat duty for 24 hours. Rat no longer here. Cats do not kill rats assume rat run out of window. when initially spraying it definitely heard Rat fleeing somewhere. We’ll buy buy again because it appears to very much do the job. Along with clearing behind cupboards. Genuinely impressed.

Mixed results here with some unexpected........ I purchased this to deter the mice and rats from eating the Hedgehog's Food. Fortunately the area is covered by 24 hour CCTV, which is triggered when visitors enter or leave the Hedgehog's Feeding Station. It is simple enough to apply, just shake, twist the nozzle to 'ON', point and spray. There is a strong Peppermint odour. Since using the RepelShield I haven't seen a rat, however there is the odd mouse. One secondary tip I learnt from another online review, is that this spray works well when sprayed onto and around CCTV Cameras in keeping spiders and their webs at bay, and thus far, it works well, not 100%, but let's say a 90% success rate. However, for best results, you also have to spray any nearby surfaces that spiders may use and re-apply the RepelShield every now and again, more so if open to the elements (rain). It is a rather expensive solution and I wish they did a larger container (500ml or 1000ml which might be more economical. Would I buy it again? Yes definitely, in fact I already have!

While I appreciate the non-toxic and eco-friendly nature of this repellent, it may not be the most practical option for severe mouse infestations. In such cases, traditional mouse traps or professional extermination services might be necessary for more effective results. In conclusion, the RepellShield Mouse Repellent Spray offers a natural and aromatic approach to pest control, which is a refreshing change from chemical-laden alternatives. While it has its merits as a preventive measure and minor infestation deterrent, it may not be the most robust solution for more significant mouse problems. For users seeking a humane and eco-friendly option to keep mice at bay, this repellent is worth considering, but for more severe infestations, other methods might be required.

I used an entire bottle in my attic over the course of a week. Although it left a pleasant smell, it had absolutely no effect on deterring the rats. I used it alongside both electric and snap traps, and even placed dishes of the liquid directly in the areas with the most activity. Unfortunately, it provided no deterrence whatsoever. Sticky mats next!

L'odore è gradevole per gli umani, non è fastidioso e il prodotto non è dannoso né su plastica né su gomma né su parti elettriche. L'ho comprato per usarlo sul vano motore di due auto. La quantità è sufficiente per 4 applicazioni abbondanti. In una auto i topi non sono più tornati dopo la prima applicazione, nell'altra auto, un'Alfa 159, sono tornati dopo tre giorni e ho dovuto spruzzarlo una seconda volta e fino a oggi, dopo circa un mese non sono più tornati. Per maggior sicurezza l'ho spruzzato una terza volta dopo qualche giorno dalla seconda applicazione anche se non c'erano più segni di topi. Avevano fatto nel vano motore il loro nido con pezzi di lana portata da chissà dove e riserve di cibo. Consiglio di spruzzarlo anche sulle parti da dove i topi potrebbero entrare, per esempio la parte bassa del vano, e tenere l'auto ferma per una o mezza giornata per evitare che col calore del motore il prodotto ancora fresco e liquido possa evaporare prima e avere un'azione meno incisiva.

Ich war skeptisch aber ich bin erstaunt wie gut es funktioniert hat. Ich finde den Geruch angenehm aber die Ratten scheinbar nicht. Sie haben sich eine neue Unterkunft gesucht. Bin zufrieden.

We had a small mouse problem. The day the spray arrived I saw a mouse in my kitchen. I panicked and directly sprayed the mouse. He/she totally freaked out and ran in circles before running out of the room. I sprayed the baseboards and possible entry points. Have not seen a mouse since. I don’t know if it was the spray that chased them away but my house smells minty now so there is that!
