Charged the new battery and after taking only 12 pictures it has no charge is it faulty?

Yes, I am able to get about 150 pictures per charge on my set. I'd contact customer support.

Are these batteries approved for carry on luggage on commercial passenger flights?

They seem to be. I have taken mine through US, UK, French, and Italian security points.

On the charger display, the battery is only charged up to 3 bars not 4. Is this normal?

I don't think so. I would suspect, (1) that you didn't leave it on long enough. (2) that you have a bad battery or (3) the charger is malfunctioning. Have you tried another battery?? Have you left it on charge for as much as 24 hours?

Will the usb cable fit the sony dsc-wx0 cybershot camera?

Solid replacement battery kit, works as expected

I picked up this Kastar battery and charger kit for an older Sony Cyber-shot camera and it has been working reliably so far. The batteries fit properly and charged without any issues using the included USB charger. I like that it’s a slim setup because it makes it easy to charge even when traveling without needing a bulky dock. Battery life seems comparable to the original batteries I had years ago. I’ve used them for multiple photo sessions and they’ve held up well without draining too quickly or showing any weird behavior. The LCD display on the charger is also useful since it shows charging status clearly, so you always know when the batteries are ready.
