These are nice speakers for the money. They don't compare to my high end speakers but just wanted something decent for the basement. You will need to spend some time adjusting the bass and treble. An equalizer would be a benefit. The treble horns on these are ear piercing and almost painful. They suffer in the mid-range but bass is boomy. After an hour or so I got them to where I want them. After break in I'll do it all over again.
